What a great place to grab a cold beer and enjoy a barbeque sandwich with some slaw. Choose from 3: brisket, chicken or pork. All delicious! Add some vinegar or maybe you prefer a spicier taste like me! Nice atmoshere and friendly staff.

This brewpub, right across the street from Bull's Head Public House, had a very nice atmosphere, attractive decor. Place was mostly empty, as we were there mid-afternoon. So many beer styles to choose from, we did a sampler. You selected your beers, as few or many as you like, in 5-6 oz pours, for $2.00 each. It was difficult to... More

Waited 10 minutes to be recognized after seating ourselves in the "Speakeasy." Got 1st round of drinks delivered about 15 minutes later. Ordered appetizer and main course for table of four. Got appetizer 20 minutes later. Left after waiting one hour for main course that never arrived.

Tried several beers but didn't find any that suited me or my friends eating with us. Food was edible but again just not to my liking. When eating at a barbecue style place I expect ribs that aren't way overcooked. May have been an off not but none of us enjoyed our meals or brews. I really wanted to like... More

I love the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. The bluesy musician on Wednesday nights is also really good. The beef is awesome on the. Nachos. The SMOKING IPA IS AWESOME AND SHOULD ALWAYS BE ON THE MENU BUT HARSLY EVER IS! My only gripe is the service. I've had too many bad experiences with waitresses who have poor customer... More

My wife and I had lunch here to celebrate our birthdays: hers on the first and mine on the fourth. As soon as we entered we were greeted and shown to a table in the corner of the center enclosure. Our server Lisa was immediately there to take my beer order and our lunch selections. My wife thought her mac... More

I was in Pennsylvania for a wedding over the weekend and was looking around for something new and local. Originally I had planned to eat at JoBoy Brewery but when I arrived the hostess told me about the new JoBoy Speakeasy located below the brewery. I decided to try it. Downstairs you one to a door and a bell which... More

We were out with friends on a Friday night, not something that we often do because we like a less hectic time. We had dined at JoBoys previously and we found it to be a little loud for us. On this evening, we were told there was about a 20 minute wait. But they told us, if you'd like to... More

$8 for wonderful fried pickles but you didn't get many. $11 for a sandwich and chips, another $4 for small fry. I split the cost of the pickles so my meal with tip was like $23 for a sandwich, fries and ice tea. Waitress was't very on top of her game but I was with girlfriends so it ended up... More

I have had many opportunities to eat here. I love the pulled pork and pulled chicken platters. My favorite is the fried okra with horsey sauce. My son-in-law, a southerner thinks the meals are okay. Of course, he has his favorite BBQ place in North Carolina. I don't care for beer. However, they do have crafted beers.
