A little lacking in atmosphere, and they could use more seating (we had 8 people) but you can't deny the food is delicious and there's lots of it! Our group had cheesesteaks, burgers and fries - all great, and huge portion sizes! We'll definitely be back!

My husband and I saw a line of patrons patiently waiting outside in the dead of winter- most everyone was a local- so we just had to stop and have a taste... So glad we did. You have fans for life! Love, love, love the free jalapeño peppers that are being given out for free - if you so choose... More

My last review about this place was not too good: one star. And that was generous at the time. But you know what? I went 2 times recently and both times... the food was very good! I know! Right? Who knew? I recommend it because the service is fast and the food is good. This first time, my friends and... More

I had many cheesesteaks in Philadelphia and other cities over the years. I live in the DFW area and there is a place here who claims to be the best. They are similar to Pats just a bunch of chopped up hash. By far the finest I've ever had is Steve's Prince of steaks. Slices of thinly cut ribeye steak... More

Steve's steaks are more in the style of Gino's steak 9th and Passyunk. I like them once in awhile but I prefer a steak from brothers or the pizza shop at the corner red light in Pendel. And when I head down to South Philly I go to Pat's instead, I like my steak chopped up not in one slab... More

I never had a Philly Cheese steak in Philly, so we were on a mission! The first place we went was, Joe's Cheese steak and Soda Shoppe. It was great! The place is really nice ., clean and comfortable, and service was great! The cheese steak was deeelish not to mention the buffalo chicken fries. Would definitely go back. Next... More

So, for you out-of-towners, this is the non-chopped style. Paper-thin slices of frozen steak are placed flat on the grill, and flipped but never chopped. Placed on bread with cheese and usually fried onions. The bread matters in this art form, and theirs is really good. Make sure you can take a sodium jolt before ordering it with cheez wiz,... More

This cheese steak is awesome. Try the melted American cheese instead of whiz for a change. The fries are super crispy, and oozing with cheese. For the vegetarians, they have a veggie hoagie. Winning Best of Philly and Best of Bucks is well deserved. Yummy!
