The Turkey Reuben's we ordered were delicious. Made with thick sliced, roasted Turkey (NOT lunch meat). Coleslaw is well made, hubby said it was really good. I enjoyed the rice pudding for dessert. We will definitely bring the family in for a good, home cooked...meal! Muchas gracias!More
Came back after about 6 months away. Food was OK, but a bit spicier than usual. When I paid I was told they added a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. This must be something new.
2 couple received a very nice surprise last Friday night . We have driven past this restaurant several times .. We all Agreed to give it a try . 2 dinners were crab cake platters Crab meat had a nice taste maybe a little dry...for some people .the vegetables were a mixed of several different vegetables that melted in your mouth. 1 dinner was a chicken platter over a nice tasting sauce with rice and mushrooms . 1 dinner was a large salad loaded in a large taco shell .even the huge shell was delicious. Small dining room more of a take out restaurant . Only seating for 25 people. BYOB is allowed . Dinner entrees had a nice selection for everyone’s taste . A few days latter 2 of use went back for lunch and had a cheesesteak and oven grinder both delicious . Staff was very nice and friendly both times . I would think the third time back will be just as good as the first 2 visits . Free parking a few steps away .More

After hiking @White Clay Creek State Park I was ready for a filling meal and this place was perfect. Ample pulled pork sandwich with homemade chips filled me right up. Service was very responsive and gracious.
This cafe is hidden in a small strip mall along route 896. There is seating inside, but it is small. We were there for lunch. The food was very good. The service was very slow, as there was only one young woman working outside the...kitchen, waiting and bussing tables and handling the register.More
Only been there for breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked (I often order eggs over medium, don't usually receive them that way, but here I do!) Bacon was perfectly crisped, potatoes were lightly seasoned. Menu item were nicely varied, very reasonable prices for the quality...of food and portions.More
Daddy's Kitchen has great food and service. Reasonably priced as well. Crab Cakes, Cheesesteaks and Bonnies Salad are the best around. Never disappointed in whatever I have ordered. BYOB I believe. Try it you'll like it.
Unfortunately,although the food is OK my friend and I frequently get diarrhea immediately after eating here. This is usually due to poor sanitation.We finally stopped going there for that reason.I have worked in the restaurant business for several years.
This is our go-to place for breakfast out. Good food. Clean restaurant. Standard breakfast menu with a delicious Mexican flair in some dishes. I look at vents and corners etc when I go into restaurants (I know, a bit compulsive) but I have to say...they keep it very clean; no dust or grime build up on the ceiling fans or framed art or any places that might easily collect dirt. Little big things like this always impress me. Says a lot about the ownership and the effort of the staff. This is a small place—8 tables or so, seats about 30. The waitresses hustle and they are friendly. Typically, the most I have seen on schedule are two waitresses. They serve lunch and dinner and you can bring your own wine/beer etc. if you’d like.More
We love stopping at Daddy's Kitchen after dropping our son off or picking him up from UD. The hotel breakfast was packed this morning, so Daddy's Kitchen was a perfect choice. Great service and great food!
My wife and I stopped in this morning for breakfast. Limited menu. The issue was there was one women working the floor the other was just standing around after seating you. The only waitress with only 3 customers was standing with the other girl BSing....We hap to ask for more coffee which took her a while. I asked for more water she never came back. I asked her to remove our plate ans she said I'll be right back she never came back until we flagged her then she ask me if I wanted water after the meal. That's what you call poor service.More
Disappointed in our experience. The food was good but the service was pretty much nonexistent. Had to flag down the waitress for a coffee refill. She did not offer more water. The two waitresses spent much of their time together and not checking on their...customers. Unfortunate, but this lack of service will keep us away from this restaurant.More
I ordered Chicken Piccata. Described on the menu as marinated chicken with lemon butter, capers and saluted baby spinach. There were no capers, nor was there lemon butter sauce. What I received was tasteless chicken, no capers and no lemon sauce. It was salty, unappealing...and as close to chicken piccata as kielbasa is to a crown roast. For $14.25 it was a complete waste of money. I only rated this a 1 because there was no lower rating available. My advice - avoid. You can get better food at Wawa. See picture below.
