During renovations, workers found in the floor beams a signed inspection stamp--November 5, 1890--with the name of tobacco inspector John J. Jeffries. We named the restaurant after him. Had dinner there with family. Not many tables but still felt private. Had many small Plates. Everything was good but not my kind of dining. You will not get full here. All in all a nice experience

The best place we went during our week in the US. We arrived late and it was not an issue for them to serve us. The food was amazing and the waitress really friendly. Don't hesitate to go there!

There is no children's menu. This is, as the previous response noted, an adult restaurant. I don't recall seeing children there.
