Very disappointed. We made reservations but due to being 3:00 we didn't really need them. Sat us at the most unromantic spot outside because we were a party of 2. Guinness served in a normal beer glass, over salted fishdisappointing. Batter(fish itself was very good), had to go indoors to track down ketchup. we were charged for bread we never ordered, the most anyone said to us was "thanks for coming" I am sorry to write a bad review but we were wishing we went to Quips or Mccleary's. I don't mind spending more these times such as they are.. just overall very dissappinting.

Stopped in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. Had a little wait but not long. Food was great. Had Irish Tacos as an appetizer (very Tasty) Shepherds Pie for main course was piping hot and delicious. They have a kids menu too and the burger and grilled cheese went over well. All in all a great place with excellent service and reasonably priced.

Made a reservation to sit outside as it was a pleasant evening and were seated promptly. The price for two sausages and some mashed potatoes seemed a bit high, although they did taste okay. Service was good - and so was the stout!

Looked forward to going, 14th annual oyster festival and an Irish pub, how awesome. But so disappointed . Ordered the fried oysters, made terribly wrong, knuckle oysters on a plate with average fries, and average chole slaw. Sad, very sad. Not recommended. Expected on an "oyster celebration". For me a waste of calories, travel time, and money. Had the Bloody Mary, guess again expected better. Oh, well I guess I travel too much.

I'm sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience. Our Oysterfest featured both east and west coast oysters on the half-shell, grilled and fried oysters, build your own bloody mary bar, and several other seafood options. We went through over 2800 oysters in just under 7 hours on that day. This is an ever we do every year and one of our biggest days. I'm sorry you felt otherwise.

When checking into the nearby Marriott I asked about good places for dinner nearby. The desk agent enthusiastically recommended Annie Bailey's and after a quick peek at the menu, my husband and I decided to try it out. It wasn't very busy but they said they wouldn't be able to seat us for an hour. However, the bar was almost deserted so my husband and I bellied up to the bar. The food and drinks were incredible. The brisket poutine, deviled eggs, shepherd's pie, and bread pudding were all superb. Plus the bar, while full of all of the Irish classics, can literally make anything--including my sacrilegious order of a Blue Hawaiian. The bartender was awesome and the atmosphere was great. An excellent meal.

Visited with friends. Food was fine but not outstanding. Service was quite satisfactory. Prices were at the high end of fair. Two beers, fish and chips, shepherd's pie and a serving of bread came to nearly $100. In my opinion it was not worth what it cost. The big surprise came at the end of the meal. It was a line item, buried at the bottom of the check, called "TFB Cares" and it was a 1% surcharge on our meal. I got a vague answer when I asked about it. It was not announced nor was it explained on the menu. I could find no mention of it on Annie's website. Further research leads me to think the money will be used for a good cause, but charity is, by definition, voluntary. This felt more like extortion to me. To have had it removed would have caused our overworked server lots of grief so I paid it. I strongly suggest that if Annie Bailey's truly cares about the disadvantaged in our community they should care with their money, not their customers'. At the very least they should make sure patrons know that their meals come with a surcharge. BAD business practice.

This used to be one of my favorite places to visit in Lancaster. However, that is sadly no longer the case after the last two visits. I thought the previous dinner was just a fluke as everyone has off days. My husband was served undercooked soggy mushy fish and chips. He couldn't even eat most of it, but he hates to send food back. This last trip for brunch was absolutely awful. We waited at least 10-15 minutes before being asked if we even wanted drinks. When we did try to order our food our server started to walk away while my husband was ordering. She never gave us silverware. So we were served food that was already moderately warm at best, and had to flag down our waitress after another 5+ minutes of her wandering around to ask for silverware to eat. Her attitude was just awful in general. She very much gave the impression she couldn't have given a damn about us, and it wasn't even busy. I've seen this place bustling with Christmas party patrons, and have better service. I loved this place, but I understand it's under new management, and I suppose that explains things. I can not confidently recommend this place to anyone at this point unless you want to overpay for terrible service, and below average food.

I'm very sorry for your poor experience at Annie Bailey's your last two times. We are still under the same ownership but have had some turnover the past few months we are working through. I would love to learn more about your experience and if you would send an email to anniebaileys@tfbhospitality.com I would be happy to talk through this and make it right.

The place to go to when I’m Downtown Lancaster. Great menu and awesome drinks. The staff is happy and very customer friendly. We stop for a drink but tempted by the menu and had a few small plates and soup. The 5 Onion Bisque Soup was simply amazing, the Fried Artichokes fantastic and Pretzels are really good. The martinis excellent.

A plesant meal if you can successfully book a rersevation. I originally reserved a table fir 11:00 on a Sunday. My frustration came when I needed to change the time to 11:30. I tried calling on several different days but could onky get voicemail. I was also unsuccessful in changing the time through Resy. I finally just booked a new reservation online for 11:30. The morning of my visit, I got a text confirming my table for 11:00. Repeated the same process of trying to change it but to no avail. Afraid of losing the table alltogether, I arrived at 11:00 and waited tge extra 30 minutes for my son to arrive. All thst being said, we had a nice meal ( Harvest Salad and Fish 'N Chips) and a very attentive wait person. Also loved the

Our initial visit although our adult daughter has been a guest several times. First, the floor. When you enter an establishment with such a gorgeous authentic historic wooden floor, all will go well. The bar area is huge with so much to take in, you will forget you want a drink! You can sit inside at high top or regular tables or outside. We elected outside under an umbrella in the courtyard. The food was outstanding. My husband & sister had the chicken pot pies and devoured every bit. I tried the beef tips, so tender, so huge a portion that I had enough for lunch the next day, with finely sliced mushrooms in a Demi Glacé sauce that was heaven. They truly have a gifted chef & their prices are extremely reasonable.

A meal after church.. The place was busy ! Lucky we made reservations… but service was great along with the food. I’ve been there several times but a first time for one friend. I told him to get the bangers and mash! He was not disappointed he loved it it was delicious…”best mashed potatoes he ever had “!! Great selection of beer and a great selection on the menu. Can’t go wrong! Last visit was Mother’s Day brunch with my son over a year ago. The food is always good and outside seating and bar was available. Didn’t check it out but rooftop available now as well.

We stopped here for brunch on a Saturday after visiting Lancaster Central Market! I noticed some of the reviews weren’t positive, but them menu looked good so we wanted to give it a try! We’re so glad we did! We ordered the Irish bread basket, which our server said was great…it was just okay, but it was still Irish soda bread, so it was what was expected. We also ordered the Sausage Delight which was SOoooo good & the Toffee French Toast, which was nothing to write home about. It didn’t taste like anything special, I only ate a half a piece. We were debating trying the fried cauliflower… but then I noticed a picture of waffle fry nachos in one of the reviews. I asked our server if the Irish nachos were over tortilla chips or waffle fries, I said, oh yes, please add those. (I let her know, they should have waffle fries in the description). They were fantastic - so so good! I hi d sight, I would’ve skipped the Irish soda bread & French toast & just do the other two things which were amazing!!! Give it a try, it’s a little dark inside, but a nice atmosphere!! Enjoy!!

This was the second time we have been there in a month and both times the receptionist was quite rude. Once we had reservations and once we did not. The receptionist was equally dismissive on both visits. Once we got seated, the noise was overwhelming. Once the server Kennedy arrived, things picked up as she could not have been more friendly or professional. The food was also quite good. We had the the beef Wellington bites and the crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizers. Both were delicious. The entrees of fish and chips, hot chicken sandwich and shrimp and grits were also quite tasty. Other than the unpleasant receptionist and the extreme noise, the restaurant was good but not great. Definitely a younger crowd where everyone was talking over the other. The more they drank, the louder they got which I know is not the fault of the restaurant. But, the accoustics are terrible and it was impossible for a small group to carry on a conversation.

The bartender was rude and needs to be reprimanded for his actions and attitude. We were there with a group of friends. He rushed us for an order, even though the bar was not crowded. Our friends had not seen each other in a while, and were meeting there after a wedding that not everyone attended, so we were exchanging greetings. He kept insisting on payment as we were welcoming everyone, and two of our party willingly told him they would cover them. We were thrown out for no apparent reason other than "he can!"

Lovely Irish place with landmark dishes and drinks. Chicken pot pie had a thicker top crust but was tasty and hot; the shepherds pie was also very good. Service was good and the ambiance great. Definetely worth a visit.
