Delicious modern food in a laid-back environment

We stopped here on a pass through Pennsylvania. We were headed from Philly to Pittsburgh and decided to see Lancaster "along the way." It turned into a long trip and we got hungry and stopped here because of the good reviews here. We were not disappointed. This place is great. The ambiance is... read more

Four of us stopped in the other afternoon and had some beer flights to try Lancaster for the first time. Flights were either 6 or 12 with the 12 sampling all that were on tap. All beers were very good and covered the spectrum of types of beers. We had some half price appetizers during happy hour Pretzels with beer... More

Stopped in for dinner and the restaurant area was full. They offered us to sit in the bar area in which you have to "fight" to get a table which is definitely a downside, they should be able to keep a list for that area as well. The other downside is that service in that area isn't good. We had... More

The restaurant was busy and the waitstaff was efficient. We shared our salad, but the waiter brought out 2 plates of our own. We tried the beer sampler and enjoyed all of them, that we bought a sample case before we left. Our main course came and the plates were piled high with meatloaf and veggies for me and a... More

Visited on Sunday for lunch with a large group of friends: my child's sports team and parents. Menu had interesting choices (some seemed over the top for such a place: duck tacos at a small town brewery, really?) so I stuck to what seemed "traditional" and it was good, no surprises and no let downs: the white chili and Caesar... Our family ventured here for dinner after outlet shopping and weren't disappointed. The old warehouse space is cool. The beer we tried was very good. Everyone's dishes were better than expected pub fare. We had the pretzel bites with yummy fondue, the fried pickles, the wings ($5 special on Wednesdays!), the Caesar salad, the salmon and the scallops. Highly recommend.

Just had an amazing meal that started with the pretzel and fondue followed by the meatloaf dish. Both were simply amazing. The flight of beer that accompanied the meal was even better. Such a great time.

We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. Parking lot is small but plenty of nearby street parking. The property was clean and inviting. There was enough space between the bar and dining room to keep the noise in the bar. Service was very good, friendly and efficient. Food was better than expected (bison burger and pretzel... More
