La Dolce Vita is by far the best bakery in Lancaster. If you are looking for a special cake for any occasion, look no further. The La Dolce Vita bakers put their heart and soul into every cake. Our daughter’s wedding was today and there...is no Baker I trusted more!! Bailey and her crew went above and beyond to be sure we had the most delicious and beautiful cake for our daughter and her groom. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!More

They make the BEST Pastries, cookies and wedding cakes!!!! They also have a wide variety of light bites which are very delicious after a walk through the city. Stop for a real cappuccino or Italian coffee. It is excellent!!

We went in La Dolce Vita Bakery, because we were walking to our Lancaster Marriott hotel, just two blocks away. Wow! Everything you would ever want in a bakery. We got several different treats and sandwiches. Everything was wonderful. I only wish I had gotten...a few more for the road!More

La Dolce Vita is a local cafe/bakery in downtown Lancaster, roughly two blocks from Penn Square. It’s a quick walk from my home, which makes it not only convenient, but a favorite place to grab something quick to eat or a cup of coffee. The...desserts are incredible! You have French macaroons, classic macaroons, canoli’s, cookies, cakes. Do you love breakfast? I do. You can’t go wrong with their bacon, egg and cheese (with grilled onions) on a toasted plain bagel! It’s melty and packed with fresh flavor. Need a quick lunch? They’ve got sandwiches, pastas, fruit salads and daily soups! Have time to spare? Sit outside, enjoy your food and people watch. You may even meet a friendly dog or two. It’s also a great place to stop if you’re handling business at the courthouse - it’s right across the street! And a quick walk to the lancaster public library. But make sure you stop in before 5pm - they don’t have evening hours.More

Great place for sweets and a sandwich over lunch. The sweets are out of this world. If I have to visit the courthouse, I make sure I stop here afterwards.

Stopped in for a birthday cake for an Italian friend of mine. There were more choices then I could have imagined. They open at 7 am and had a great coffee business as well. They even offered to put his name on the cake. No...need to travel to Philadelphia for great Italian pasteries/bakery...sorry Rocky..I don't need you anymore.I found a replacement close to homeMore

Just the beautiful smell of pastries & coffee in the store makes you want to buy. Very difficult to make a choice but we choose the cherry & blueberry turnover and chocolate brownie

The cookies and pastries are always a hit. Very good coffee and the sandwiches are fine. But the cookies and pastries are just divine. I come here about once a month - waistline cannot stand more than that.

If you have the kind of sweet tooth that I have, just walk in the door and you will feel as if you have died and gone to heaven. I wish I could have tried everything
