This family owned place is hyper local and worth finding. No worries about street parking; they have big lot. I've had their soups and sandwiches which are delicious. Tuna sub and clam chowder are my favorites. Service is no-nonsense but friendly. The pace is laid back so allow a bit of extra time. NOTE: CASH ONLY!

I grew up in Lancaster and Valentinos was always the neighborhood spot for a drink with friends/family and it was never crazy busy. The night we went was a different story! It was like Lancaster found our tiny spot and claimed it as their own! So glad they offer outdoor seating now! Good spot with great drink prices and relaxed... More

This restaurant has tons of character and history. It is family-owned, warm, and cozy. The burgers are good and the spaghetti is excellent. But don't go here if you are in a hurry. We arrived for dinner when they opened and there were only a handful of customers. It took 20 minutes to get our order taken and 40 minutes... More

This is one of the few remaining Italian restaurants in Lancaster. It is quite small, not romantic, but is good authentic food at a reasonable price. One of my favorites.

This is a 3rd and 4th generation Italian cafe, founded by the Valentino family when they emigrated to the USA. Food is always good. Service is often by family members. It's a small cafe, maybe 10 tables of 4s, 6s, and 8s. It has a fun history and a nice old cafe ambience.

We arrived on a Saturday night and the restaurant was completely empty except for the bar. The specialty on the menu is spaghetti. Other than that the menu consists of mostly sandwiches. We all ordered the spaghetti and it was the worst we have ever had including canned spaghetti. The sauce was dark colored and bitter. The noodles were over... More

A piece of Lancaster's history. Great people, great food, low prices, big servings, I'm a regular almost every week. Love it!

Simple family made food and fantastic value. Owned by the same family since before WW11. Egg salad sandwich for lunch was made just perfectly. Small bar attached to the café with the cheapest drinks menu I have seen since I arrived in the USA. Would love to be a local....

A friend revisited a haunt from his past! And I got to come along! It is like the neighborhood bar 30-40 years ago with locals of all ages. We shared an eggplant parm which was very good. At about 8:30 a makeshift band with two accordians and a trumpet started playing! A real step back in time and so much... More

They have lots of pictures on the walls that tells a lot about the owners and their siblings. They have specials every week. They make homemade waffles for chicken and waffles for a special. I haven't tried them yet and I plan too, because I heard they are excellent. They have outdoor seating now. Also serve a great breakfast. Great... More
