The Belvedere Inn is at the top of our list for places to eat in the City of Lancaster. We usually eat lunch, rather than dinner, but dinner is equally outstanding. We have always found the service attentive and the food delicious. We also enjoy the atmosphere. This can be a busy place, so reservations are recommended.

The Belvedere is usually one of our favorites. Tonight was a huge disappointment. The busser was rude and abrupt. Food did not taste like it usually does. I hope this was a fluke.

This is an excellent place for lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and the service is very good. Although there are so many good things to try, on the menu as well as daily specials, I would recommend for first timers, the grilled Caesar salad. There is a small and large size. This time I ordered the large Caesar and... More

We recently went here to celebrate with friends a special occasion. We did not make a reservation but there were 20 plus of us. The owner made sure we had a table and we were comfortable. The staff was constantly checking on us and it was the weekend after Thanksgiving so it was packed in there! We appreciated the individual... More

We were looking for an elegant place for lunch before seeing a show at the Fulton Theater. The grilled Caesar salads were excellent, as was the soup. When we arrived, there were only two parties in our room, and our waitress promptly took and filled our orders. Once the room filled up, however, the service declined. We had to go... More

We have been here many times and this time were frankly disappointed. There were 14 of us after a show on a Sunday evening. Waiter was great. Drinks were great. Food came out disappointing. Many of our sides were cold as were a couple of entrees. We had been here many times, one family was never there and we were... More

My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at the Belvedere Inn. They greeted us with a Happy Anniversary, had a Happy Anniversary message printed on a card at our table and provided us with a complimentary glass of champagne! This place was beautifully decorated, maybe cause it was the holiday's but it worked for us! Service was outstanding and... More

Have eaten here several times over the last few years. Consistently excellent. It is beautifully decorated for Xmas . We actually stopped in about 3:30 pm to pick up a gift certificate for a Xmas gift. We did not have lunch so decided to have some lunch. The regular lunch menu was not available but they have light fare menu... More

This a visit back in time to a stately Victorian home beautififully restored into a fabulous restaurant! Our visit here was next to enchanting as each space here was incredibly decorated for Christmas. Everyone was warm and welcoming and made us feel as if we had been here many times before. The dining room was elegant. A fireplace burned, large... More

I ate lunch at this nice restaurant recently and immediately looked for one of their signature long featured entre's - the char grilled romaine lettuce with a thick, yummy caesar dressing to which I added grilled chickedn. All for $13 - a luncheon deal, believe me. The restaurant was elegantly decorated for the holidays and was warm and charming. I... More
