I, my husband and two friends attended a Sunday Brunch at the Cock'n Bull Restaurant in Lahaska, PA. The Cock'n Bull has maintained a good reputation over the years so we were looking forward to our meal. The food (which consisted of mostly breakfast type items ) was mediocre. There was a carving station with a beef roast which was... More

As have many others, we purchased a BOGO voucher from Travelzoo a while back for their Sunday BRUNCH for July 17. When I called to make the reservation, I clearly stated we had the voucher. They gave US AN 11:45 reservation. We drove an hour to get there, spent time finding a parking space, walked 2 blocks to the restaurant,... More

Went here with my family, right off the bat you can clearly see the cost cutting measures, from only homemade corn bread in the bread basket.. To the reduction in menu items. I hope the Cock n' Bull goes back to the way it used to be.

Dining at the Cock and Bull Restaurant in Peddlers' Village has been on my bucket list for a long time. I finally decided to visit and dine at this famous restaurant, despite the 20-25 minute wait for lunch. Once seated, I waited ten minutes before someone stopped by my table. But then things improved, time wise. The wine and crab/artichoke... More

Dinner was just "ok". Meal was very bland....it is as if the chef lost the salt and pepper shaker. Service was also just "ok".... Sadly while this is a great place to look at from a "historical" feel, it lacks in the level of service that should come with the atmosphere.

We eat at the Cock 'n Bull every few years when we're in the area, and we've gone there several times over the course of 30 years for their potpies. This most recent visit was quite disappointing. Their signature dish used to be made the old fashioned way, with pie crust, and were very good. Now they make them with... More

Even though we experience a discounted brunch our server was pleasant and friendly, perhaps a little over worked due to the amount of people. But when our drinks arrived, I was surprised that a glass of water was served with a lipstick stain still on the glass....poor kitchen management....made me think what else was not washed.

We went for brunch when Peddler's Village had Paris in the Village. We really enjoyed it. Yes it was expensive but for my husband and I it was a treat for our anniversary. I was surprised our drinks were included when the bill came. We both left full. I thought they had a very nice selection. I'm looking forward to... More
