The owner is the most rude, arrogant and disrespectful person in town. I am a valuable deaf customer for 25 years. We’ve had a few problems with them but continued to come back anyway. In the past, the owner aggressively forced us out of our...table after being seated because we were blocking the aisle and gave our seat to someone else. We had a newborn baby and were waiting for hours. He had no sympathy or compassion for the mother and infant waiting so long. And just tonight, we were waiting a long time once again, only to be abused and oppressed by the owner and manager. Another table was rudely/unthoughtfully lingering at their table for way too long. Maybe I shouldn’t have, but I very politely asked them with my voice and my sign language simultaneously “are you leaving soon? we would love to have your table.” The woman smiled and said “yes, sure, almost done.” We gave each other thumbs up with smiles and I went back to wait with my wife and chat until the table became available. But apparently this woman reported me to the manager and boss, claiming I was aggressively telling her to “get out of here!!!” with my aggressively flailing hands (aka my sign language). It was absolutely not true. The manager came to me to scold me for being so aggressive and rude to the other table. I tried to explain this just wasn’t true, but there was a lack of communication somewhere. Instead, the manager gave me dirty looks and I demanded to talk to her boss. If this was a black person feeling oppressed (BLM), they’d be more respectful, I’m sure of it. The boss, who left a bad taste in my mouth with his feisty attitude (and doesn’t let you get a word in) comes storming in, with no means of communicating with his deaf and valuable customer. He claims I threatened his 100 lbs manager who is female and she is now terrified of me (I did absolutely nothing wrong, just tried to communicate my feelings, which is hard with the masks on and cannot lip read). He also claims he saw me walk to the table twice, angrily signing to them to get out of here (also lie- I went once, and I never ever said “get out.”) I was shocked the woman from the other table reported it. He also said I told the manager to “go f*** yourself” which I also never said. The owner is a liar, he doesn’t have respect for the Deaf culture, he has zero means of communicating, and does not care about his customers. We waited and waited for over an hour to get dinner, but instead, we left with no dinner, feeling very oppressed and offended by his lack of respect for deaf people. A hearing family member called to speak with the owner and instead of the apologetic “customer is always right” attitude, he instead was extremely defensive and wouldn’t let anyone get a word in edgewise. A real jerk. Plus, since COVID began, the take out food has been skimped out on food. They add less and charge the same amount. We will never go back again.More

Had no knowledge of this place, had driven by it a number of times; came in for a late lunch. Nothing fancy here, and we had an enjoyable leisure BYOB meal; they offered to cork and set up wine glasses as soon as we walked...in the door- good start. Had some simple, traditional salads and dishes and both were well done- told the server we were hanging out and she didn't hassle us or try and hustle us out and offered coffee etc. My Cambrian nonna would have approved this meal.More

I stopped for take out on the way home. I had heard this place was very good. The service was very good. The food was not. Just a cut above fast food while the prices reflected a better dining establishment. Its a shame that it...is near by Philadelphia with its many fine dining experiences. This is fifteen minutes outside the city in one of the better neighborhoods and its just oil, noodles and garlic.More

No reservations are taken at this byob restuarant, so be prepared for a wait at busier times (Friday and Saturday evenings). Weekday nights generally are not a problem. Consider a Saturday lunch. No wait and the there us a fantastic lunch menu. Service is always...very good. Food at lunch or dinner is great.More

The pasta was great going back again! Was a great portion also, not to much or to small, just enough for left overs for my lunch!

Nothing is better than a mom and pop operation and this one is terriffic. Located in a strip center, it's not much from the outside. Parking was tight the night we were there but it's all quite simple compared to a downtown place. Be prepared...to wait if you get there on a weekend or a dinner rush. I don't wait, but glad I did. Let's skip right to the chicken piccata and the sauce that was so tasty, I would have licked the plate. The owner himself took our order and made sure we got extra sauce. Lovely. I was so focused on my plate, I really don't remember what the rest of the party ordered except that it was ALL delicious. I hear the pizza rocks as well.More

I love this charming little restaurant! Despite the close quarters, you will not find yourself shouting to make conversation. The food is delicious (I recommend the Chicken Cacciatore) and it presents a very relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter was quick, attentive, and offered us glasses for...the beer that we brought along to enjoy our meal. One thing to add is that the plates are pretty large, which I really appreciate because that's when you know you're getting your money's worth.More

The empty restaurant Sunday afternoon should have clued us in to what was going to happen. Too bad we did not heed that warning. The only good things were the cheerful waitress and the good clam bowl. Everything else was lousy. The antipasto had tough meat,...chunks of tasteless cheese and mushy olives and red peppers, the pasta was overcooked and under seasoned, and the tiramisu was below average in taste. So, I no longer believe the posted good ratings.More

I had to send back my lunch as it was not even what I had ordered. The server apologized and took responsibility. My dining partner finished his meal about 10 minutes before the correct meal even was brought to me—or quasi-correct. At least it was...the right meal, although not the right toppings—but I just ate it. A real shame that what would have been a nice lunch was marred thid way.More
