Bingham’s should not be missed especially if you are on the way to hike the mountains of upstate NY. It is family friendly. We were seated in a booth which is perfect for stopping my son with autism from eloping. My younger son loved his...meal of short stack hot cakes and a generous helping of bacon. My husband had a delicious omelette with home fries and toasted homemade bread. I had the cinnamon French toast without raisins. We were given many individual packets of butter and syrup to complete our meals. The service was polite, professional and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. When my older son did have a little bit of difficulty (vocal protest about using a strange bathroom), no one got upset or approached us. Everything is well priced so tip your servers 🙂More

Great location right off 81. Sweat bread was brought to the table when we sat down. I enjoyed that. I only tried one, it tasted like Cherry sweat bread which I’ve never had, but it was good. We ordered chicken & biscuits and a chicken...sandwich. Both were good diner type food. Of course we ended with pie. Coconut and pecan were our choices. They also we very good. The best part by far was the cream puff that I got to go. It was excellent!!More

The sweet tooth in our group told us that we HAD TO stop here. Boy I’m glad we did. Honestly blown away by this place and how everything hit the spot. Three of us ordered slices to go - it’s that good. I can recommend...strawberry rhubarb and coconut creme - since I couldn’t resist stealing a taste from my friend’s plate. Great place, great pies and they’re taking proper precautions so we enjoyed everything in peace.More

Haven’t stopped here for about 10+ years but stopped for dinner on a trip from NY back to PA. We had only ever had breakfast years ago. Service was good & they were socially distancing tables but food was just ok. Was a little bland...in my opinion. I had the seafood lasagna which desperately needed salt. Husband had the full rack of ribs which he said was pretty good but wasn’t thrilled with the bbq sauce. I would definitely try it again because maybe it was just the food that we ordered. We did bring home some desserts & they were very good. The eclair was amazing. Again I would stop here again & try something else.More

Food was basic. I wouldn’t say home style. We wanted to try the pie, but service was so bad, we couldn’t get a server to come back to us. Iced tea was almost 3 bucks a drink and apparently couldn’t be refilled cause server never...came back. We all ate our meals without beverages. Very disappointing. Spent 80 bucks for a family of 4 for crappy food. We couldn’t wait to get to our car to get drinks from cooler cause we were so thirsty. Server was more worried about seating more people then letting me pay for our check. Total bummer.More

Lovely sunny day and lovely lunch outdoors with the apparently new wooden picnic tables. You could smell the fresh cut wood. My husband had a grilled ham sandwich and I had a huge alpine hamburger which was prepared with swiss cheese and mushrooms. Delicious. French...fries were also good. Best was strawberry shortcake. Signing up for their birthday coupon is a very smart idea. Our waiter was Travis and he was great. Very friendly and efficient. We have been going to Bingham's for many years and it is always a very pleasant experience.More

It has been a long while since we dined here - caught a late lunch today and we had a great meal - including great pies! If you're traveling I-81 near the NY/PA border (exit 211), make this a sop for sure!

We have eaten here in the past, and it has been OK. The fresh breads are very good, and we are thinking that might be the only reason to stop. Our breakfast yesterday was scary. My wife likes oatmeal, but they only had instant. She...got the home fries and cinnamon toast - the bread was great, but french fried potato chunks are NOT home fries. Home fries are on the grill; don't complicate the most simple of breakfast sides. I had eggs and ham with cinnamon toast - and they put margarine on the toast! OMG, what restaurant puts margarine on anything? A good "country" eatery uses butter, a fancy French Brasserie uses butter, any decent restaurant uses butter; never margarine. Word of the day - Butter!!! We may stop again for home baked bread, but never to eat.More

The food was great and I left with a full stomach. I also left my favorite bracelet behind. When I noticed it was missing I called the manager and she was nice enough to mail it back to me. Thank you so much. Great food...and even better service. I will be back to enjoy a meal again.More

Probably, they do accept Master Card and Visa. Call first. 45 minutes down Rt. 81 is Clarks Summit, with several good places to eat, but you never know for sure with American Express. Call.

I have not traveled that far in several years. That said, it looks to me like somewhere in Virginia or Kentucky would be your best bet, for "half way", but that is an ambitious run. You'd probably arrive safer and saner by... More
