This place has a little bit of everything, including a selection of exotic meats. You can go from wild and wacky like a camel burger to normal pub grub anyone would eat. We sat upstairs out in the atrium. It was a nice area to enjoy a cold beer. I had the pulled elk sandwich, with included 13 hour slow-cooked... More
Whenever we have guests in town or I meet someone relocating to the area, I suggest a meal at Half Moon Saloon. Great selection of beer and the menu is both exotic and inviting. The gorgonzola fries are heart-stoppingly delicious!!!
Disappointing, I had heard this would be a good place to go on a Saturday night, but the tables upstairs were wobbly and the chairs extremely uncomfortable. The first two beers my husband ordered were not available. The food was ok, little pricy, and not much choice for appetizers or entrees
We went on a Saturday afternoon, there was a nice crowd but not overly so. If it's not too hot outside, you definitely want to go to the 2nd floor patio which has nice open air views. We were recommended by a local to try this place, and we were very pleased we did. We went upstairs to the rooftop area, which has huge up-and-over windows that can be opened so you feel like you are outside. We decided on the cheese tray which was a mix of cheeses and jams, mustards & a little meat. It came with a basket of sliced, toasted... More
Great atmosphere! Highly recommend! We ordered the Sauteed Exotic Mushrooms and the Walnut Crusted Goat Cheese appetizers. Both were excellent and I highly recommend them! For dinner we had the crab cake dinner with vegetables. It was excellent! My son had the bacon wrapped chicken sandwich and loved it.
