On a best friend weekend trip, we stopped in here to try something with local mushrooms. The porcini mushrooms were fantastic! If you stop in here, give them a try.

If you go to this restaurant and do not order the crab cakes, you're making a very big mistake. These incredibly delicious, delectable, delights are 100% crab, and are served with lobster sauce.

Very pleasant ambiance in this cozy restaurant in the middle of Kennett Square. Mushroom soup is wonderful and the variety of entrees would suit anyone. There is also a pub downstairs, which we frequent when looking for a fast bite.

Had eggs benedict with a side of hash brown potatoes and a fruit bowl. The eggs were done to perfection and enjoyed the meal so much. Also had a Mimosa which was a wonderful accompaniment. This is the third time I have eaten there and will continue to go again. Our waitress, Tonya, was very accommodating, making sure we had... More

Nice bar set up, older crowd. Live music some nights. Bar food okay. tables are close together and the prices are on the higher side. Known for the mushroom soup

Food was great. Service pleasant. This restaurant welcomed hometown carolers while we were dining, making it fun while we were eating.

We stopped in prior to a visit to Longwood Gardens for late lunch. The dining room had nice ambience. The building was old and historical, which we love. The only other group was a party of 8-10 in the room. It was not crowded due to the hour, and that was ok. What wasn't ok was how s-l-o-w service was.... More

We were enchanted by the lovely "living room" ambiance as we dined next to the fireplace. After asking for gluten free food, I was advised that most of their entrees were gluten free. I enjoyed crabcakes with a lobster sauce - something that I haven't had in years. How wonderful for a restaurant to be able to accommodate ll the... More

Have been visiting this area for the last few years and never been in this place. Was cautious when entered on a cold Monday lunchtime in November as I was the only person in the place but it soon filled up. It is a nice place in a nice location with a good and quality menu but its all about... More

Great lunch, super fresh food. Absolutely delicious soup and sandwich, kind, attentive service that made our day. Cozy atmosphere with a nice selection of dishes. The pub was great for lunch, but there was a lovely dining room that we'd love to try for dinner.
