Harrigans is known for being a higher class establishment in Johnstown and intended for special occasions (and it is both of those things). However, most don't realize their weekday lunch buffets are super affordable ($10.50 per person) and are absolutely delicious. There's a different theme each day and you get to make a very nice salad with many veggie options, soup, rolls, main and side dishes. Tuesday is "turkey day" and is just like having thanksgiving. Aside from their lunch buffets, their others options are very delicious as well. You also get the wonderful live music by Johnstown's own John Pencola and special guests. Check it out soon!

We arrived, no reservation required. It was pretty empty due to Covid 19. However, this restaurant inside the Holiday Inn, downtown, has lovely decor and such good food to miss! It was a special occasion for hubby and me so we ordered top shelf food. We got the hummus appetizer which was green in color which is unusual but tasty. I order Rib Eye steak with mushroom, broccoli and also rice. The steak was delicious and also huge! My hubby ordered chicken marsala & liked it. The wine on the wine list that we wanted was out of stock but the waitress helped us find another one.

We went on a Friday. The live musicians were great. Server was attentive and the food was tasty. Price was reasonable. Great wine list by the glass. We loved the duck salad. True lamp chops were small but tasty

The food was excellent. I ordered the Lobster Bisque & Petite Filet with the "wine flight" for one customer from the "Great Date" menu. I'm puzzled by the fact that the price is $30 for one person but $50 for two people. Also, they receive one bottle of wine & I had the "flight" which included 3 tiny glasses and a 4th glass half full of coffee beans which the waitress said was for decoration. What's that about?
Too cheap to spring for that 4th tiny glass of wine?

Thank you for providing us with your honest review of your experience with us. We are so happy to hear that you loved the food! Our goal is to provide you with the best food and service possible, as your satisfaction is our top priority! I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed, however, in the Me Party Dinner for 1 deal. We believe that providing a flight for one person as opposed to a full bottle of wine is a more responsible approach for our establishment. Additionally, we provide a three glass flight so that you can pair a different kind of wine for each of your three food courses. The fourth wine glass is full of fresh coffee beans that is meant to reset your nose between glasses. We apologize that our server did not provide you with a clearer response to your question. We will be sure to include that in our next department training.
Once again, we appreciate you taking the time to provide some feedback, and we look forward to opportunity of hosting you again in the near future.

Don’t fall for the $50 couples special. The shrimp and crab entree was all noodles with 3 shrimp and small pieces of crab (I think) with no taste. You get a bottle of wine with the meal but it was the cheapest and just above having a glass of water. My wife had the steak but was so stringy and charred it was not worth trying to cut it to eat. I’d pass on the deal. You can get a much better deal on a great meal at any fast food restaurant .

The Date Night Dinner at Harrigan's for 2 was excellent for an awesome price; $50 for 2, which included, 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts, and a bottle of wine (tax and tip not included). The choices were not from the full menu, but the choices provided were excellent. Our waitress Michelle was so nice and sweet. The atmosphere was also very pleasant, with live music that was just right.
We will most definitely be going back.

This is a fantastic place for a date night. They have a couples special running at the moment, you each get an appetizer, entree, and dessert plus a bottle of wine.
At $50.00 it was a great value and the food and service was fantastic.
Great job guys keep up the good work. My wife and I will definitely be back.

Dined here with my girlfriend. Started with a mini pizza for appetizer. Flavors were good and just enough for 2 people. Entrees arrived shortly after we had finished our appetizer and portions were nice. Flavors were pretty salty for both our dinners, the kitchen needs to slow down on the salt!! I had the pork porterhouse and my gf had the pasta entree. My pork was covered in gravy and was a bit overwhelming, the mashed potatoes were good but the mixed veggies were soggy due to being under pork and gravy. My gf pasta entree was cooked very nicely but the meatballs need a lot of attention. Zero sauce on them and a bit rubbery with not much flavor. The wine list is extremely short for being a wine bar/deck? The dessert seems just thrown together with some warmed cake covered with whipped cream and some fruit. A nice experience but no hurry to return.

This place should be in your lunch and dinner rotations! I love the food and service is great! Bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They have a cheap dinner date every night that you can't get anywhere else for the price. I live downtown Johnstown and it has become a favorite spot of mine. Check out the live music too!

We dined here last night. It met our expectations. We ate dinner here the one night we stayed at the hotel. The waitress, Mary Jo, was very nice and personable. She was working the floor by herself and kept up. My wife had chicken marsala and it was nice. I had salmon that was OK. It had some very rich potatoes and green beans. We also had salads and they were good. Beer and wine were available. We also had breakfast the next morning and it was good as the waitress was quick and the food good. My oatmeal was large and yummy and my wife liked her English muffin. The coffee was good and the pot was left at the table for our refills.

Love to sit at the bar for drinks and dinner. Friday evenings are best depending on the musc entertainment. Katie the bar mgr is the best. Very attentive! Knowledgeable and great mixologist always makes you feel comfortable. The food is very good as well love to make it a regular stop!!
