Coney Island Hot Dogs are AMAZING!! Perfection!! They put chili sauce, mustard and onions on them. The chili sauce is amazing! The onions are strong - but worth it! Let's talk about the signature Sundowner. It is a cheeseburger with a fried egg and chili sauce, mustard and onion. Again, the onion is strong. If you like onion, you will... More

I found the staff to be quite rude. They carried on a conversation with each other before waiting on us and then seemed agitated when I had a question. Thought it was kinda gross for him to line 6 hot dogs up his arm just after he wipes sweat or whatever from his brow. The hamburgers were not that great... More

Not clean at all and the staff are abrupt and dismissive. The price of the food is ridiculous when Sheetz offers the same thing for less $. The building is worn and outdated and the interior leaves much to the imagination of What it was before the 77 flood.. When we Johnstownians tell you this place is a treasure, don't... More

I grew up on CI hotdogs and now my kids request it every time we're downtown. I honestly don't know what it is about this place but the dogs are the best. Food is cheap, atmosphere is greasy spoon but has tons of character. If you're in town to visit it's worth it to stop in and grab some dogs... More

Leave your pretentious attitude at the door and give this place a shot. I've been going to Coney Island for hot dogs for as long as I can remember...it was a different place when Mama was still around, but nothing much else has changed in the 40+ years I've been going here for late-night, "after a night at the bar"... Small local restaurant you won't want to miss. The chili dogs are the best ever, and they make a superb hamburger with fried egg called the Sundowner, yum. Also, if you get there early enough before they run out, you have to have their mac and cheese.

A Johnstown institution! The definitive hot dog. Make sure to order "with everything on it".... Their own chili sauce, mustard, finely-chopped onions, steamed bun.... oh my. If you're looking for ambiance, keep looking. If you want the best hot dog in town, go where thousands and thousands of Johnstowners have gone for decades. Oh, and you might want to order... More

They have the best chili cheeseburgers and hot dogs! It's a great place to visit and a must when you are in Johnstown. It's also a great deal.
