Sat in the hairdryer seats at the front window - silly and comfortable and we could watch the foot traffic outside. Delightful! Then came the service - we were catered to like royalty. They gave us four kinds of appetizers before we ordered - black garlic and spicy brussel sprouts just because the chef had made them and wanted us... More

We wanted to try something different while we were in Jim Thorpe and the ambiance is really cool, very eclectic with lit up wheel decorations all around. It's a very small, intimate place and a little on the pricier side but so worth it. As you're waiting for your food, they bring out a rasberry honey butter with warm bread... More

I am not going to bore anyone with the details and I am not going to nitpick. Overall this place tries a tad to hard to be trendy and unique. I have no problem paying $45.00 a plate, but the food was kind of bland and not inspired. The staff was just not friendly. There were only 2 tables that... More

We ate at Wheel for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. We loved the atmosphere and the food was excellent. The menu is different, but lots of good choices. We will definitely go back.

Was really expecting a great meal after looking over the menu and then making reservations at the #4 restaurant in the Jim Thorpe area. We got there just behind another couple right at our reservation time. They were turned away and told to come back in an hour since they were full with reservations. At that point there were 10-12... This restaurant was amazing! The food is different, enticing, and absolutely delicious!! We had the duck, watermelon and arugula salad with feta cheese and lime vinaigrette. Different, yes. Delicious... Absolutely! My husband had the charred scallops Barcelona with a mango salsa. Fantastic! I had the Thai fusion coconut shrimp! Speechless! Tom Gorman, the owner and chef is as talented as... More

What an eclectic place to eat! The food was creative and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Thai Coconut Shrimp--it was heaven! Our waiter was attentive and very friendly. We would eat here again on our next trip to Jim Thorpe!

Third time in Jim Thorpe that we have tried to experience Wheel. Apparently it's a charm. Reservations reservations reservations. Great food, eclectic atmosphere and the music was just loud enough so the small dinning room gave the feel we were alone even when full.

My wife and I were away in Jim Thorpe, Pa for a long weekend. We have visited in the past but never tried this restaurant until yesterday. I'm grateful we did. My wife had the puttanesca and I had the macaroni and cheese with shrimp. Unbelievable taste and quality in this food! You can tell the chef makes every dish... More
