Sitting over the water on Beautiful Brisbane Waters, looking at Pelican Island bird reserve with gigantic pelicans coming in for landing, and the sun heading towards the national park - you really could not find a better location. The rustic wharf building is charming if a little breezy when the wind is up. It can be cold if the weather... More

Rude staff expensive menu , filthy outdoor environment ! To order few bits of fish and chips , I had to repeat and yell my order , and she still got it wrong ! The fish was underfried , the chips were overfried , 15 minute wait , the tables were full of rubbish , etc etc etc ! Seems... More

My husband and I took my elderly Mother here for lunch. A nice drive for her from Davistown on a lovely sunny day. Lunch was delicious. We all ordered the flathead tails and chips, a side salad and some tartare sauce, two soft drinks and the bill was just over $50 The fish and chips was $12 so I thought... More

As locals for over 20years, this place has changed to cater the out of towners. Do yourself a favour & buy the takeaway only, there is a lovely park further down, far better than the closer one, where the homeless live near the adjoining public toilet block.... you can choose yourself your fish or whatever & their chips are great. BUT... More

Lovely place to watch the pelicans and seagulls walking around. The pelicans get fed every afternoon at 3pm but we missed that. There is a children's playground right beside it.

I visited this restaurant on the weekend. The surroundings, on the wharf a handful of metres opposite the Pelican Island Bird Sanctuary is truly unique. This experience on a simple rustic wooden jetty is as close to enjoying a meal at a friend's private boatshed as many of us will get! My companion and I had a hot mixed seafood... More

We have eaten here several times over the last few years and to time it was to celebrate a family birthday. We arrived a little before lunch opening hours, but due to cold weather the staff kindly let us take a seat early. Knowing that the seats are a little hard, we brought our own cushions which we keep in... More

We had lunch here on Sunday, a group of five, nice food good location a little rustic but added to the atmosphere, we found it to be a tad expensive and their wine list was depleted because of " the end of financial year ". Service was good and the waiter very helpful. Fish and chips around the $30 mark... More
