Amazing in all respects but I really like lunch best. $50 for two courses and a glass of wine plus you can see the amazing view up the coast. A special place for a romantic anniversary dinner but too expensive for a family celebration.

Saturday night dinner, it was after sunset so can't say much about the views but I imagine it would be quite good. Food was relatively good, but to be honest, if you're paying around $100 a head you would want a good experience to come along with it. Service was pretty woeful, got seated and given menus, but it took... More

As a couple from Sydney, we are spoiled for choice and good food. The Cowrie was excellent - lovely ambience. Carpeted venue keeps the noise down, although we dined on a Thursday night. Seafood and meat very well cooked.

Just average due to the customer service For fine dining experience and with the prices charged it was underwhelming. Venue: Great decor and view. Food: excellent Service rude and indifferent Would not go back which is a pity.

The venue is lovely great view but unfortunatly thats where it ends. Service was average, no one asked how our food was or offered tea coffee or desert. Had the seafood platter for two which is basically a cold platter accompanied by a marinara mix minus the pasta. Not what you would expect from a fine dining restaurant and not... More

I was at The Cowrie for a luncheon function. The food, service and ambience were out of this world. And the view over Terrigal beach is spectacular.

We enjoyed the ambience of the Cowrie and the panoramic view of Terrigal was impressive. The staff were attentive and obliging. The food was generally of high quality but with limited quantities. Parking is not only limited but in a very dangerous situation.
