Attached to the museum, this restaurant/cafe has great lunches and even better evening meals. A very relaxing atmosphere

After a week of self-catering at our accomodation, it was nice to have someone cook a burger for us. Perhaps it was the fresh salad that was unloaded from the boat that day, but it tasted great.

For a simple lunch, this was a good place to eat with toasties and soup available. Reasonably priced but not open all the time.

Nothing in such a location is ever going to be cheap but this cafe does its best to provide quality and reasonably priced fare. I ate lunches there and loved the choice of wraps offered, also that one could get a large mug of coffee and both served efficiently an pleasantly.

Open all day with different menus at night. The Asian night menu was excellent as it has a Malaysian chef in the kitchen. Bookings most probably needed for evening meals. The Rendang was the best i have had for ages.

Popped in but too late for lunch after a walk one day (a pity we did not realise the kitchen closes earlier on Sundays). Check the signage & blackboard outside and consider booking for dinner. However, café-fare on offer looked good, tables looked clean, and décor on covered verandah looked fresh & relaxed in island-style. We went back for morning... More

We stopped in here briefly for a quick bite to eat - nothing more than a sandwich, but we were impressed nonetheless. The sandwich was freshly made (very fresh bread!) and served to our table within what seemed like only a minute or two.

This is a great cafe attached to the museum. The food was well prepared and reasonably priced. It's a shame we only went here on our second last day as we loved it.

We often stopped here for a coffee but also had a lunch and a dinner here. Like everywhere on LHI the staff are always friendly. We went to their Asian night for dinner which provided a bit of a contrast to the other meals that are on offer on the Island.
