We were really expecting great things from this restaurant with its reputation (with prices to match) and great reviews from friends and family. Ambiance was fantastic and service was excellent which were big plusses. Being it was the first night of a new set menu,...More

This restaurant is a special place and provides a wonderful backdrop for a special occasion. The staff are delightful. They take the time to interact as well as providing wonderful service. We sat on the balcony and were not bothered by the mozzies at all....More

We ate at this restaurant as part of our recent stay at Paperbark Camp and it was a very nice experience. The restaurant itself is set up in the trees, with a good view of the camp and surrounding grounds. Our server was very friendly...More

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent meal with us, our chefs work hard to put up 'good grub' ! Point taken about the term 'degustation' , we are actually working to move back to an a la carte menu in the...More

The Gunyah is in the unique Paper bark setting. A set 4 course is offered. Quality is good, fresh ingredients, watch the sunset amount the trees. A few local wines are offered. At $70 pp we thought it was reasonable value. Sides are $9 extra...More

Part of the Paper Bark Resort "glamping" experience, but open to the public, this must surely be one of the best restaurants in the region. Nestled in the tree-tops, the relaxed and informal restaurant marvellously compliments its bush location. Large open bi-fold doors open up...More

We went as a group of 9 and had a great night out. We started with drinks on the deck under the gums as the light faded before dinner in the restaurant. Set in the trees with open sides you really get the feel of...More

You must book in peak season but it is worth it. The food is beautiful and there is a kids menu (spag bol or chicken). It was so good we went back a few days later (yes I know!). Highlights were the quinoa bread rolls...More
