As a local, I am sick and tired of continually being disappointed with meals that are overpriced and ordinary. And of being ripped off with wine prices that are over the top. A friend suggested The Deck restaurant at the Byron Bay golf club. And was I surprised. When walking into the club I was not too sure but we... More

An unpretentious and friendly restaurant serving good food at a very reasonable price. Worth a visit and if staying at The Byron Resort can be easily reached by foot.

Beautiful sitting outside in the late afternoon/evening. Food was reasonably priced and decent proportions. Staff were friendly and happy.

Sadly this restaurant is not worth the drive, I wouldn’t recommend it to any of my friends or indeed anyone, except maybe for those who would enjoy a Fawlty Towers dining experience. The restaurant was empty on our arrival and was not very full throughout the evening. Even so on placing our order we were advised that there would be... More

Well, there have been some low points in dining in our many trips to Byron Bay, but this really takes the prize for the worst we can remember. I spent some time writing a witty and thoughtful review, to try to make light of the experience, but in the end I decided to stick to the facts so that others... More

Were staying at Byron Holiday Park across the road and enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the deck listening to great jazz and yummy snacks of salt and pepper calamari, falafel with tzatziki and salami and cheese toasties for the kids.

Ended up here after being let down by another local restaurant. So glad we did. The views of the golf course are absolutely gorgeous. This is one of those best kept secrets types places, The restaurant has just been taken over by a new team. They couldn't have been friendlier or do enough for us. We both had Salt &... More

The new team in the kitchen staged a fixed menu Christmas in July function last night. They smashed it out of the park - each table had large platters of tasty chicken roulade, lamb, cold ham, turkey and lovely roast veggies. Service was great and they had decorated the restaurant with a large backdrop of a snow covered forest -... More

Under new management. Try the Pok belly Asian style, also the pizza. Not open sun-Tuesday. Well priced, good sized meals. Friendly staff
