I went to targa today to visit my family who were already there. I was tired and when I sat down I didn't see that the waitress was talking to me. There was a screaming kid next to me and the waitress was annoyed so she poked me in the leg rather forcefully to get my attention and asked if... More

I have visited this restaurant many times. They have a wide and unusual range of breakfast offerings, the coffee is Italian and great and the service exceptional

Nice little Italian. Ordering the gnocchi is a must, it was some of the best I've tried, including in Italy. Could pass on the fondant, bit over cooked. Service was great and really nice atmosphere to the place. Definitely worth a visit

My recent visit to this Byron eatery was a mid week catch up with friends and while the weather was a little chilly the venue was a nice treat. Our table was a cosy banquette where we could settle in and enjoy the company and the always excellent food. Starting with an antipasto plate to share we enjoyed a great... More

Definitely worth a look if you're after an intimate dining experience wth good quality Italian food. St Elmos was closed (our usual restaurant to visit when visiting Byron Bay) so we chose Targa instead - and we weren't disappointed. We had the bread and balsamic/olive oil to start, followed by the fish of the day, burnt butter gnocchi and finished... More

What a wonderful restaurant find in Byron Bay!! Recommended to us by staff at Gaia Retreat and Spa, who obviously know their stuff in the local area. Our waiter Danny was knowledgeable, friendly and happy without being intrusive, and the other young waitress was equally as friendly and service-oriented. The menu was inviting and the food we ordered was delicious.... More

They have really good priced and good quality breakfasts (poached or fried eggs with sourdough or gluten free toast; muesli, fruit salads, muffins, kids specials); dinnerwise they're always changing the menu from what I've seen/heard but the food is always great and they can make a mean affogato. The staff is really friendly, I'd say it's a really good place... More

If you're looking for a causal not soo formal dining experience in Byron Bay. Then look no further and dine at Targa. Not a hop away from the noisy main strips and a quite spot enough to have a quiet casual dinner. Although, the steak required more attention and alcohol variety is limited. Targa is still a pleasant place to... More

My partner and I went to Targa for Dinner and I highly recommend this place. Excellent menu & wine selection. Our entree's and main's were beautifully prepared, well presented and delicious. The staff were fantastic, friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. It was definitely an enjoyable experience. I can't wait to dine there... More

We ate in Targa on our first night in Byron Bay. Our table for five - all family - was just outside in a nice location on a warm, late summer evening. Food, slightly expensive, was good quality and well cooked but what let this restaurant down for us was the off-hand service. I felt as if the staff were... More
