Located in Byron Bay this restaurant has a hippy vibe to it. The food is good. Try the burger. It took us a while to get served. They seemed to be changing from breakfast to lunch. Once we ordered there was also a significant wait to get our food. They were friendly.

Tucked away on a corner you can sit inside or alfresco...great variety of unusual breakfast choices - buttermilk pancakes and the breakfast burger with a special relish - yummo

Myself and two friends went to Targa on a Saturday night during the non-busy time in Byron. While the food was all excellent the service was a let down. We had called for reservations and told there were two seatings one at 6:30 and one at 8:00. We booked the 8:00 and showed up a little before. Since this is... More

I went to targa today to visit my family who were already there. I was tired and when I sat down I didn't see that the waitress was talking to me. There was a screaming kid next to me and the waitress was annoyed so she poked me in the leg rather forcefully to get my attention and asked if... More

I have visited this restaurant many times. They have a wide and unusual range of breakfast offerings, the coffee is Italian and great and the service exceptional

Nice little Italian. Ordering the gnocchi is a must, it was some of the best I've tried, including in Italy. Could pass on the fondant, bit over cooked. Service was great and really nice atmosphere to the place. Definitely worth a visit

My recent visit to this Byron eatery was a mid week catch up with friends and while the weather was a little chilly the venue was a nice treat. Our table was a cosy banquette where we could settle in and enjoy the company and the always excellent food. Starting with an antipasto plate to share we enjoyed a great... More

Definitely worth a look if you're after an intimate dining experience wth good quality Italian food. St Elmos was closed (our usual restaurant to visit when visiting Byron Bay) so we chose Targa instead - and we weren't disappointed. We had the bread and balsamic/olive oil to start, followed by the fish of the day, burnt butter gnocchi and finished... More

What a wonderful restaurant find in Byron Bay!! Recommended to us by staff at Gaia Retreat and Spa, who obviously know their stuff in the local area. Our waiter Danny was knowledgeable, friendly and happy without being intrusive, and the other young waitress was equally as friendly and service-oriented. The menu was inviting and the food we ordered was delicious.... More

They have really good priced and good quality breakfasts (poached or fried eggs with sourdough or gluten free toast; muesli, fruit salads, muffins, kids specials); dinnerwise they're always changing the menu from what I've seen/heard but the food is always great and they can make a mean affogato. The staff is really friendly, I'd say it's a really good place... More
