I had been to Fishheads many times before but the last time I dined there I found the food lacking in some way. The first moment I felt that their food had changed for the worst was the bread dish. The baked bread was sitting in a bowl with fried cloves of garlic and at the bottom of the bowl... More

Fresh and delicious. Right on the beach. Great for a quick easy lunch then back to the beach. Or sit relax and enjoy the view.

Location, location, location! Right at the beach at a busy corner. Great small menu with nice dishes and good seafood! The fresh snapper was amazing, squid good and the gnocchi tasted great but were not served hot. Waited for almost an hour for our starters despite the restaurant not being busy when we arrived (8:00pm). We just liked the flair... More

My wife ordered a seafood linguine--which was very slow to arrive and when it did the barramundi was missing. After raising this with the waitress twice, and the manager once, a piece finally arrived in solitary splendor--but the rest of the meal had been consumed at this stage. Perhaps the chef had a night off, as usually Fishheads is somewhat... More

I personally didn't find the meal to be very flavoursome and the meal took a very long time to arrive.

We went for lunch and had the fruit juices and burgers which were nice but a little bit too much dressing.

Very nice to have a fresh and grilled seafood platter rather than deep fried. Great service and good wine selection

Very ordinary fish restaurant, very overpriced for the quality of food. The snapper and noodle dish my partner had was drowned in an overpowering unsubtle broth. The fish in my fish and chips was too heavily battered; I left the restaurant with a mouth full of stodgy oil. If the take away menu is cheaper, don't venture inside.

I love this place for its muffins alone although I'm told the other stuff's pretty darn good. Today's blueberry muffin was 90% blueberries 10% muffin- best I've ever eaten. Service was exemplary too. Thanks Katie 💐

Got a good fish and chip takeaway here, quick enough service as was very busy on the night, they give you a buzzer for when it's ready. Good portion of chips and the fish was nice and crispy, would recommend a visit.
