We arrived in Byron for a day in July, and being hungry after a long drive opted for a "safe" choice of fish and chips at the beach. Everything tasted like it had been sitting in the a fishing bait bin for 4-8 weeks, then badly deep fried. The 1 star reflects the fact that we weren't ill. You have... More

Terrible. Asked what was with the lemon, salt and pepper calamari he stated there was rice so I ordered the main size. Received fish with rice and an entree size calamari, what the? Sent the fish back obviously. The calamari was bland, had no salad or anything with it. Very very ordinary. My friend ordered the mixed grill and a side... More

Visited here twice. Morning coffee took 20minutes to arrive. Evening meal was good but again the service was slow. Fantastic location but needs a bit of staff motivation to make it great.

Went there for lunch with my cousins family, had a good experience, the food was fresh and the portions were large. My nephew enjoyed his food too. The service was great even when the place was full. It is very close to the beach too. Will go back again

This restaurant was OK, expected more for the price compared to the take away window in the same place! Calamari was tender, the Flathead fillets Ok but coleslaw could not eat, too much vinegar & not nice. Probably have take away next time & sit in the park by the ocean & watch the fire twirlers.

My partner and I dined here recently and had a super experience! The seafood was so fresh and tasty, waitstaff were efficient , helpful, and friendly, the feeling I got from this restaurant was that it was close to fine dining whilst still remaining beachy and comfortable. Seafood linguini and mixed grill were both so tasty and delicious and it... More

Great food, great atmosphere. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. I had the fishheads royal which was grilled calamari, prawns & catch of the day, herbed hollandaise spinach & poached eggs on english muffins. By far the best breakfast I've had. Then went back another day for lunch and had the lemon salt and pepper squid. It was just as amazing.

Entrees were very good. Spicy prawns and the squid with sweet chill were both perfect. The linguine was very disappointing as there was no Barramundi in it as per the menu and it was substituted without any advice with a very small amount of salmon. :-( The salmon "fish of the day" dish was very good but the winning dish...
