We made an effort to visit, as we heard the wines and champagne are good. Also 1 GF was here in 2015. A busy operation as the staff are serving the public and often running in the office and checking emails? We felt they were short a staff member? Champagne is top shelf Pinot Gris Gertz Traminer Riesling Shiraz reserve... More

Yesterday 3 couples from Sydney had lunch. Started off well, the staff were very nice and our aperitif of Pea Soup was delicious. We all enjoyed our entrée, the French Onion Soup and the Pumpkin Soup on the tasting board was delicious, but most of us were not happy with our main course. The Steak and Trout were good, the... I have visited here on a number of times for high tea and for lunches with both family and with friends. A truly beautiful restaurant in an equally stunning environment. The food is of exceptional in quality and the staff are friendly and helpful. This is a place to bring visitors for that extra special visit to the Highlands. It... More

Great for a special occasion lunch. The menu varied enough to suit a range of tastes. Not cheap but very delicious.

Don't get me wrong, Centennial Winery is one of the most exquisite wineries in the Southern Highlands and winemaker Tony Cosgriff is a flavour magician with the grapes. The cellar door is welcoming and friendly with extremely knowledgable folk. Unfortunately the same doesn't apply 30 steps away in the Centennial Vineyards Restaurant, which is leased off to co-owners who add... More

The food and matching wine overlooking the vineyard provides a wonderful luncheon experience. The food is prepared fresh and served with the eye of a food artist. The tastes were delicious. The lamb shoulder share plate as an entree was mouth watering stimulating the taste buds in preparation for the main meals of crab and prawn ravioli and pork belly... More

Stopped here as part of a small tour of the local vineyards, testing and tasting our way through what the region has to offer. Stunning gardens and grounds, a beautifully presented buildings and sensational tasting area. Wine list is reasonable and the prices are on par with others. Staff are knowledgeable and informative but to be honest lacked the warmth... More

It is like a huge Spanish Hacienda. We visited on the recommendation of friends and we weren't disappointed. Huge open fire and food just as comforting. We hadn't intended to have lunch after 2 days of feasting. We just had a main, which was the slow cooked Lamb wrapped in prosciutto. Beautifully presented and very tasty. We were given a... More

Today we attended a lunch function, at first we arrived to a gorgeous winter setting, gorgeous building, very promising, we then entered the main building to get completely lost finding the function room which was labeled "office", nil function signage, and poor direction from staff. The room on the first floor had beautiful natural light and vintage rustic style furniture,... More

We had a great lunch beside the huge open fire on a rainy Sunday afternoon . The food was delicious with the chefs starter selection being an excellent sampler . All courses were expertly matched to the highlight the corresponding wines . I would have rated it 5 star had the service been a little slicker ( our server was... More
