This is my go to stop for great coffee, and things sweet. Love the range of organic refreshments and the veggie frittata is my favourite.

This was a second visit to this cafe. First time the slow service was forgiven because they were busy and the food was fresh and tasty. Watching the chef berate his staff added to the quirkiness of the cafe with its hipster, eclectic, dog friendly vibe. This time despite only being about 30% full, service was really slow, about 40... Have lived in bowral for years and rate this place as favourite cafe. Charming setting on deck amongst potted flowers and trees. Best coffee in bowral in my opinion 😀 and all the food I have sampled has been delicious. The staff are really friendly, goods service and meals taste as if made with love. It is our regular haunt.... More

I stayed in Bowral a few days and really enjoyed visiting the Hospital Shop Cafe for breakfasts or lunches. Food is always freshly made with a nice touch, coffee comes to perfection and most of it all the staff is happy, smily and friendly. Don't miss the great chicken curry that was available at the time of my visit, and... More

If you like your coffee strong and smooth, this is the place! One of my favorites in the Highlands. Thankful for local friends who let us know about this 'almost hidden' gem. I am always passing through with kids in tow, but would love to sit in the cosy cafe sometime to sip the flat! Such a nice atmosphere in... More

Hospital Shop is a slightly misleading name as this excellent cafe is independent of the (very) nearby public and private hospitals. It has a homely vibe and really great food and coffee - its standards are high in the modern Aussie way, quite mindblowingly high for a visitor from the UK. There isn't that much space inside, though what there... More

My family and I visited The Hospital Shop after reading the reviews. The place wasn't too busy and our orders quite simple, yet there are a number of reasons for this poor review. The place is tiny and the selection is very limited. You order at the counter and any questions about the meals are met with blank faces and... More

Lovely coffee. Staff hardworking, friendly & always welcoming. Food is usually really yummy but be prepared for very long wait at times. Good place to go if you are NOT in a rush.

Fabulous breakfast and great coffee this morning @ this ever so quaint, friendly & quirky cafe! Don't be mislead by the name.....this is a stand alone cafe opposite the hospital in Mona Rd! We voted the coffee as best in Bowral on our recent stay!!
