We decided to have breakfast before leaving Berry, and our fantastic girls weekend, behind. We walked the main street scouting out our options but could not decide on somewhere to eat. I had checked Tripadvisor and seen FANTASTIC reviews for Berry Sourdough Cafe, however we did not see it while doing our recon. We decided to ask a local where... More

We stopped here for lunch because of its great reputation. The coffee was excellent. But we ordered the tomato soup special - it was so concentrated it was like eating tomato paste. We wouldn't even use it for a pasta sauce. We told the waitress that there was an issue, and the chef offered to dilute it with cream or... More

Only a tiny place but well worth the stop. Visited here on TA recommendation and was not disappointed. We were a little confused about what was to be orders from the bakery side and what from the cafe side but it all worked out. Not a huge variety but all our meals were lovely. Mushroom and leek soup very hot... More

Very small menu, but good food. This cafe doesn't allow add-ons to meals, so I decided against a savoury brekky (otherwise I would've added an egg to the mushroom + sourdough). The porridge was nice but the cream was a bit too rich once stirred in, I loved the chai soaked prunes! The toasted muesli was delicious too. I'd highly... More

These guys know their business: Fresh bread Great coffee Killer salads with the option of adding some meat if desired.... I desired and was completely stoked. AND fresh kombucha Yes there are heaps of places to eat in Berry however the sourdough cafe presents a non pretentious, gormet experience with staff who so obviously care about your experience. Loved it

I loved this charming little spot! I had the mussels and chorizo special....boy, was I happy with that decision! My partner ordered the espresso chocolate tart....a rich piece of heaven! The only suggestion I could make is that they expand their menu because, after going once, I can't wait to return!

Brunch on a Sunday at 11am with 4 including myself. The cafe was bursting with locals and visitors lining out the door. We waited for 20 minutes for a table which was okay for a small busy cafe and bakery store. We ended up walking around the back to find the Picnic Shed that stocked greeting cards, kids books, toys,... More

Possibly a bit arrogant, but I did not expect to find such a really great cafe in a small country town. Fabulous coffee, breakfast, cakes & bread in a lovely setting. Stop if you're anywhere near Berry.
