The title says it all for our visit to Mimosa Winery Restaurant. The food was very acceptable, the oysters with the beetroot were a different take on oysters and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection. The duck dish the diner was disappointed in as didn't quite look how it was written on the menu. The cheese platter was well... More

We unexpectedly came across Mimosa on our coastal drive from Bega to Narooma. Much to our delight, we walked in on its first day reopening after three months and sat outside at a table handcrafted by one of the owners, looking over their vineyards and beautiful gardens with a forest beyond this and mountain views in the distance. We were... More

We have been to Mimosa on two occasions for lunch and each time we have been very impressed with the food, service and general ambience. Our lamb dish was beautifully cooked and the desserts were to die for. Good wine choice capped off a delightful meal with friends from interstate. We look forward to returning to Mimosa on our next... More

Mimosa is a surprise in the bushland of the south coast. Decadent meals, fabulous atmosphere with great views over the vineyard. Mimosa offer a large range of local wines you must try.

My wife and I were doing some morning 4wd-ing through the mimosa national park and thought the winery would be a fantastic place for lunch. And it was. The service was prompt, friendly, and charming. The food was also prompt and charming, wouldn't say friendly. well not to me, friendly to my taste buds. My main was a confit duck... More

This was our second visit. The first time (2 years ago) was good enough for us to want to return. We went with six friends for dinner during the Four Winds Festival. The food tasted OK, but the mains were very small (small entree size) and there were hardly any vegetables. We had one bottle of wine, and would have... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. Started with pork belly entree, followed by a sensational duck and yummy burramundi dish. The menu is not extensive but we were more than happy with our choices. We finished by sharing the licorice parfait for dessert. This was an interesting dish that we both really enjoyed. We loved looking out onto the tree tops... More

Mimosa Winery is set in a beautiful location with kangaroos dotting the distant landscape. Our evening was sparkling and set off by a bottle of champagne on the terrace by an attentive waitress. We were a large party and orders were mixed with entrees often serving as mains. The creamy mussels and pumpkin and feta pasta were a standout hit.... More

Very disappointed with our experience at Mimosa. Called and spoke to Glenn who was extremely vague and fairly rude - it was as if I had put him out by calling. Once we arrived at the winery, the lady behind the counter again was extremely and did not go out of her way to acknowledge us at all. When asked... More

The only downside to this was no view of the ocean, but the rolling hills and the beautiful building more than made up for this. Food was good but not spectacular. Go for a long lazy lunch. Pizzas looked good. We will have this next time.
