We went there on recommendation of the lady letting us her cottage. She told us the place has a new chef working there from another place that was so good. Overall a nice experience and tasty food. But it's comparable to other places we have...More

We have eaten several times at The Driftwood Spars and always enjoyed our meal. The range of fresh fish and seafood is amazing and some of the best we have eaten. All food is freshly cooked. The range of vegetarian main meals was a bit...More

It's been about 20+ years since I was last at the Driftwood Spars. Things have changed somewhat. It's now a bustling and super-friendly pub, with a big team of efficient and up-beat bar staff. It's great that the spaces are divided according to experience -...More

The pub is very popular, and good atmosphere, but not impressed with the bedrooms. Our room was small and in need of some upgrading for the rate being charged. Staff friendly, but attention to detail at breakfast was disappointing.

Lovely find on our trip to St Agnes. We had food and it was delicious and we all enjoyed what we had. The beers were really interesting and they had a large selection of local ales. The pub is also great for dog owners and...More

A great pub with its own adjacent brewery. The outdoor seating is lovely and both look out to the sea. Their own beers are great but they have a ready good range of others on draft. My favourite was a great IPA from Black Flag...More

We booked in for dinner and to be honest it wasn't on our list of favourite restaurants in St Agnes but wow what a great surprise. The menu was really good with plenty to choose from plus an extra few specials (all fish and why...More

Nice pub and restaurant combination. Upstairs there is a nice dinning place also for larger groups. Fish, we had hake, was not only done perfectly but the crab/samphire/red pepper topping added a differentiating edge to it. The crusty "rustic chips" were a salvation from what...More

100% yes. Our 2 labs love it here. Doggy bowls outside and lots of laid back pooches in the bar

No you wouldn't be able to sea the sunset, but you could take a few steps to the beach and see it. I eat downstairs so didn't see the view from upstairs. Think you'd still love it though.
