Stopped for lunch here travelling to St Agnes as it had been recommended. Friendly bar staff, nice menu choices and lovely food. Perfect place to try in good weather with the pleasant beer garden.

This ancient place was a great location for eating and the menu was huge with so much to choose from. It was busy and the food was glorious. Well worth a visit.

Lovely quaint little pub tucked away in a tiny village. Excellent food and service even when very busy. Also a tiny village shop tucked away in a part of the pub. Plenty of parking and large garden. Advisable to book a table as it does...More

We’ve never found anywhere as perfect as this. It’s beautiful, 16th century, with a few different gorgeous outdoor eating spaces. The birds and bees go on their way nearby and it’s totally peaceful. The staff are so friendly and dogs are welcome too which is...More

We went for roast dinners on Sunday - one course being £9.95 - therefore good value. The lamb was excellent; my beef overcooked (unfortunately) and not so good. Puddings all excellent.

We've taken our over exuberant Labrador there more than once. The staff are very welcoming and always have biscuits. The chef also had some lamb leftovers he kindly offered. Great pub.
