The tasting menu, which I will not attempt to describe in detail, was amazing and was accompanied by the tasting selection of wines. Suffice it to say that, as an enthusiastic and fairly proficient cook myself, not only would I not have been able to...More

We had an anniversary meal at the Driftwood (we also had a 2 night stay). The meal (tasting menu was incredible and the waiters were attentive and chatty but also discreet. One of the best meal experiences we have had.

My husband booked the restaurant as a surprise for our 9th wedding anniversary and had advised them of my food intolerance which they had made a note of and confirmed when we sat down. We arrived at the hotel and entered the reception which was...More

Absolutely gorgeous food well worthy of a Michelin star with amazing views over the bay. I could spend ages describing the food and wine pairings but think it is better to leave it to the pictures of the food itself. The service was friends without...More

Great food, helpful and knowledgeable sommelier. Excellent wine list - not overly long with the majority of wines under £50 - also good selection of half bottles. Classic cocktails were done well. Stayed in hotel for 3 nights (see my separate review) and had two...More

Driftwood is right on the coast in Roseland, a beautiful part of southern Cornwall. The restaurant has a star and this is justified from my experience. The menu has many declared ingredients for each dish and there is an inventive mind behind the combinations. The...More

We stayed at the Driftwood for our last night in Cornwall and planned ahead for the 1st class dinner. It was unbelievable, I took pics and service was top notch. We both had the fillet of ruby red beef. Truly a gourmet event, just wonderful!

My husband and I loved this restaurant! Great staff from the moment we walked in, amazing food and wine. The taster menu looked amazing but we opted for the a-la-carte. All three courses (£65pp) were gorgeous and portions huge - I don't think I have...More

If you are in this area this restaurant is a must; the rustic ideliac location combined with good food makes for a great meal out. It's a bit of challenge to find as it is in coastal village life. The coastal view as is in...More

Description
We could go on, but let's leave that to the Guide Books. Come and experience Driftwood's Michelin Starred Restaurant for yourself. There are no extravagant promises, only a guarantee of the freshest, finest food, served with stunning views across the sea. When the weather is warm we light hurricane lamps on the deck to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and after dinner coffee.
