We have just had a wonderful evening at The St Enodoc Restaurant. When we arrived there was a lovely buzz, with a party at the bar enjoying some very exotic cocktails. We had a very warm welcome by our waitress Rachel who was very friendly and attentive. We were immediately ordering from a rich and diverse menu of local fish,... More

The current incarnation under chef James Nathan is the best the restaurant has ever been. The front of house staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble when serving you, the bar staff mix great cocktails (shout out for the Gin Martini using the Wrecking Coast Clotted Cream gin!) and the food is - well, outrageously good. In... More

Managed to get here twice, once for dinner, then again for lunch. Great value, great quality & great service. The head chef, James Nathan, had put together an amazing menu which contained local seafood, game & classic dishes. All of which were seriously yummy. The wine list covers all the bases plus we were looked after & made to feel... More

Lovely location overlooking Camel estuary, relaxed feel dinner. Good value 2 or 3 courses, lovely dry pino grigio. Pretty plates and undressing mix of fruit and savoury in fish dishes (mango and cumin with lobster). Pudding waste of money.

Reception welcoming and efficient; This review is also for the Hotel ; Room service courteous and prompt; Clean and quite; Sea views( Camel Estuary) No frigo-bar; Kettle and Tea Tray basic. Bath robe provided but no slippers. Excellent breakfast and rarely found a CAPPUCCINO (believe me I am Italian) so well prepared around the West country. Some may say it... More

Superb meal from James Nathan and team , in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Having visited restaurant many times under Nathan Outlaw can honestly say it's better now. Fine dining under Mr Outlaw was a treat indeed ,with prices to match ,but this never translated into the main restaurant before. Now you can eat out of the ordinary food that is... More

We used to visit when Nathan Outlaw owned this restaurant. It has the most wonderful views over the estuary and was always a real treat. I am happy to say the new team ( head chef is masterchef winner james Nathan) is just as good if not better than the previous lot, exquisite seafood, intuitive service, an almost perfect lunch.

This is a classic holiday hotel and struggles with staff during peak periods. The girls who wait on tables in the dining room are too young to deliver a top class service which you would expect from a hotel that charges £200 - £300 for rooms. We booked a couple of weeks in advanced and explained that one of our... More

We decided to book a table after looking at the very reasonably and extensive choices for the lunch menu. The welcome was good and our table gave us fantastic views across the Camel estuary. One of us had lobster and crab bisque, two mackerel salad and one pork belly. All were excellent. We all had Hake and patatas bravas. We... More

Fabulous food and excellent service. We changed our table when we arrived as we wanted to eat outside as the weather was good and the staff were relaxed about it and attentive. Food was fabulous. We'll be back!
