Visited here early evening on a Saturday. Very busy restaurant, booking advised, quite small but unique building. Part of the “Sams” group of restaurants which are independent and unique to Cornwall. Located literally on the beach. Parking is available a short walk up the hill...More

The hidden gem of Par! Setting is beautiful, staff very professional and food was great however really disappointed that there were no mussel dishes on the menu (at 1pm) due to restaurant waiting for their delivery! Kind of a staple ingredient when running a seafood...More

We ate here twice during our fortnight in Cornwall and have been many times before. On our first visit, the food was exceptional as was the service. We very much enjoyed the sardines, the chicken pizza, halloumi salad and the bouillabaise. Unfortunately, we felt let...More

Great pizza in the beach . Shame there’s no parking as we both had leg injuries meaning we limped up and down the hill. Internally acoustics are very noisy. I’m sure they could cater for more if it weren’t for the overly chunky tables .

How I wish I could cook and present a dining experience like this ! Exception pit stop for the hungry, varied menu, excellent service, one of best Beach restaurants I’ve ever visited, beautiful views over the beach and the bay. Can’t fault it

Never write reviews but my experience tonight has left me really disappointed. Very unwelcoming staff upon arrival. The young man was quiet and very unapproachable. When we said our reservation name he just pointed and said where we were sat, great first impression! Very poor...More

Went for birthday lunch as restaurant on the beach was desired. We also wanted a menu liked by all family members and have happily visited Sam's in the City (Truro) a few times. There are several Sam's restaurants, but the menus differ slightly depending on...More

We tried one day to walk in and get a table but it was fully booked. We returned after booking a table for 7 of us. Beautiful view over Polkerris beach through the large windows. Starters for everyone included sardines, soft shell crab and scallops....More

Parking in immediate vicinity is very limited - there is a free car park about 100 metres up the hill .

25 years of Sams in Fowey has now enabled us to bring all our experience, fun, ambience, staff and fantastic locally sourced produce to create something truly unique in the old Fowey Lifeboat House here on the waters edge overlooking the bay.3 Ingredients that a successful restaurant needs are "Good Staff, Good Food, Good Ambience" and Sams on the Beach has all 3 in abundance!Enjoy! And the views not that bad too!Sam Sixton
