Totally agree with all the great reviews about this lovely traditional pub. The only fault was the extortional prices of mixers for drinks.Three pound for a mini bottle of tonic water meant it was over ten pound for a pint and a gin and tonic.

Excellent traditional pub. The oldest in the village of Mevagissey. Good food, you can even phone in an order and it will be ready for you at the time you request. Friendly landlord and staff. Good selection of ales. Interesting history. Will be going back next month for repeat visit.

We visited the fountain in a few times whilst holidaying in Mevagissey. . Had a warm welcome from bar staff and the few locals sat at the bar , would pre warn the taller visitors they have a. Very low beams and at 6ft 4 made visiting the bar quiet a challenge especially after a few pints of the very... More

A real find...full if character. Food is good and portions large, beers good. Why then only four rating...simple but not something the owner can do much about...it's quite small so difficult to get a table.....there is another bar out back but that is the one bad point...it lacks the character of the main bar. That said...get a table in the... More

It was close to 8.30 on a busy Friday night, during the summer holidays after a hot day and they finish serving food at 9. This is a proper pub, looks inviting from the outside, looks and is cosy on the inside and busy with all sorts of people and it's a nice pub to be in. We walked through... More

My favourite pub in Mevagissey. Full of character and charm. Excellent food and good value for money. Restaurant was full (as are most restaurants in Mevagissey in August) so we had the bar food which was just the ticket.

We were on holiday in Meva for a week and went to the Fountain Inn twice. First time we had food from the menu, which was great value for money and large portions. Nicely cooked and tasty. We also went for a Sunday lunch which was an amazing £8.95 each. Beef was well cooked, pork good too and massive yorkshires,... More
