We had a first rate meal here one evening last week. We ate in the upper dining room. The menu is varied and the food was delicious. What more could one ask?

Make sure you don't miss this. Tiny little pub, good food, check the serving times when planning your day as they don't serve food all day. Lovely open fire. Only very small but worth a visit

A great little pub in the heart of Mevagissey which offers great choice of beers and ciders and a good menu. It's very popular, we ate there twice and enjoyed our visit and meal on each occasion. The fish and chips were excellent and very reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate in here most nights but the menu's limited. The cod and chips is absolutely beautiful and generous too. I also had the chicken and leek pie which I have to say wasn't that good with hardly any filling and rock-hard pastry but the Cornish sole was very good and the crab sandwich was excellent! Plenty of crab in... More

During a long weekend visit to Mevagissey we visited this fab local pub for dinner and we weren't disappointed. The 2 bar areas and eating areas were all popular but we managed to find a cosy table for 2 in the bar area. The menu was full of great homecooked pub food favourites with thick cut pork chops and apple... More

Lovely warm welcome as you enter the door and approach the bar, just as you hope every old Inn to have but don't always have. All the food on the menu is homecooked on the premises (we were told, bar the pies at the moment which is soon due to change to homecooked too) Lovely atmosphere both in the bar... More

What a fantastic olde world pub steeped with history, this place does excellent food. Serves very good food at very reasonable prices. I use this place quite a bit when in Cornwall on holiday.

We followed TripAdvisor to this pub as we don't know the area and reviews were good. It looks like a really nice pub and the menu was appealing so we booked a table for that evening. The pub itself is lovely and traditional; just our kind of thing. We had a 7pm booking and were seated upstairs early which was... More

Tucked into a corner in the heart of the town, this place had a really good feel. Nice ales and ambience. Didn't try the food, and didn't see anyone else eating either.
