On an amazingly sunny last Saturday morning in November we parked at the end of the harbour and walked back to the picturesque fishing harbour and sat watching the day from the warmth of this lovely bar/restaurant through the large windows fronting it. It has a very warm feel about it. The staff were excellent. There were six of us... More

Just had the best Sunday dinner at the Sharksfin, the taste, portions and presentation were superb. Sharksfin doesn't offer a carvery anymore but we much preferred this option. Service was lovely and the staff were a credit, so friendly and attentive. We'll be returning.

My wife and I visited Mevagissey for the first time yesterday and chose Sharkfins for its bright contemporary clean appearance, a great range of beverages were on offer, the freshly made coffees and toffee and chocolate muffins did not disappoint! service was prompt attentive and welcoming. A lovely ambience wth chilled bluesy music and views across the harbour were enjoyed.... More

We booked a table for 10 for our company meal. We had directors fly from London to attend the meal to discuss business and catch up with staff. I spoke to a lady called Laura who took our booking and I can honestly say she was a credit to the company! Laura was very accommodating with our request and was... More

We came here for a coffee and lunch after walking a wee bit of the Coastal Path. We weren't expecting to stay long after having had a lukewarm reception elsewhere in Mevagissey, but the coffee, the food and more importantly the staff were so brilliant we ended up staying a good few hours. Food wise, the quality, portion size and... More

Visited on a Sunday in September, booked a table although it wasn't full but they gave us a table by the window. Service was quick & friendly & the food was excellent. We had the blackened fish tacos & blackened fish burger - both delicious & good sized portions. Would definitely go back.

We had a very good lunch here; the pasties were very good. The view from the upstairs window spot was excellent. I would go always back for more.

we had an early "tea" here with our two young grandaughters and were not disappointed. From arriving through the door the staff were extremely friendly, pencils and colouring sheets given to both girls before taken to a table overlooking the harbour. The menu is varied along with a blackboard of specials. Fish is obviously a feature given the location. The... More

We visited as a family of four for lunch and were really impressed by everything about this place. The food was amazing, my crab mac and cheese (pictured) was delicious and my husband's burger was excellent too. My son's fish and chips were lovely with light crisp batter for the fish. So many places hardly make an effort with children's... More
