A good restaurant on the sea front with good fresh food, including a lovely steak and seafood. All local. Staff were very friendly. Filled up quickly and by 6:45 they were turning people away. Food unsophisticated but good.

We called here hoping to eat but settled for a drink before we confirmed we were eating. The ordering at the bar was slow and painful, then when the drinks arrived the glasses were grubby. At this point we decided not to eat, despite the food that others were eating looked good.

Fresh seafood, beautifully prepared and a great view - what more could you ask! The pirate ships cabin themed room upstairs is charming and the whole restaurant is charmingly decorated highlighting the history of Mevagissy and its fishermen.

Wife and I ended up eating here three days in a row - evening meal twice and late afternoon lunch once. Pasties to die for, fantastic fish and good ales / wines. Staff are all very friendly, well organised and hard working.

Awful service, dirty tables. Overcooked food, tried to overcharge us, and seemed surprised taht I didn't want to pay for things not received.

Called here on the spur of the moment. The restaurant was busy but we were fortunate to find a table. The staff and atmosphere were welcoming and friendly. There was a good reasonably priced menu with a good choice of fish dishes. It's a good location for a restauran

Visited with family and friends whilst on holiday. The food was very good but the visit was spoilt by the service. Waitress never smiled and acted like she didn't want to be there. Chips forgot and cutlery not on table. Not a single check for drinks or how our meal was. It was a shame as the meal was good.... More
