Sunset Surf, which is a cafe/ licensed restaurant on the beach of Gwithian in Cornwall is absolutely fantastic and after visiting 4 times this holiday I highly recommend it. The staff are all incredibly helpful, approachable and a superb level of customer service. Very professional and respectful. There is a full menu, however we were just having ice creams for... More

This is my favorite place to eat and drink in Hayle. The owners and their staff are very friendly and accommodating when choosing from their menu. We have literally changed a whole menu while we've been here with no fuss. Food is absolutely delicious and moreish. To top it all, you have the most beautiful and relaxing view of the... More

A short walk from where we staying at Gwithian for a couple of drinks by the sea. We sat outside on one of the numerous tables and simply gazed out to take in the stunning views. Location is just perfect. We didn't try the food but it looked very nice when brought to a table close by.

It's an order at counter deal with lots of firm favourites including fish and chips, burgers, nachos, milkshakes and homemade cakes. Although it has seating inside, it's the view that matters here. Well cooked food and a sunset that possibly can't be rivalled gives this place it's purpose. There's also a surfing clothes, wetsuits and board hire shop. Magical but... More

Ate here on a couple of occasions during a stay in Gwithian. Food was lovely, especially the cream tea, which our two little boys (6 and 3) loved. Beautiful location and friendly staff. Hope to return!

The renovation makes the interior a bit clinical and lacking in character. The prices don't represent the quality or portion size of the food but I guess you are paying for location. After having 4 small slices of jalepeno on both of our nachos we asked for some more and were given 2 more slices each... Hmm. Our server Guy... More

2 adults and toddler for brunch/breakfast Menu has a good selection of tradition and continental choices, only point would be I didn't see a dedicated children's menu but they have a good selection and we shared the bits of the continental he didn't eat. Good price and great service. The view in the morning is as good as they come,... More

Ate here twice during our camping trip - had breakfast and dinner. Both times food was great with brilliant table service. Also had a drink most evenings on the way home from the beach as they have an amazing veranda which is very chilled out. The only slight drawback is the queue sometimes to order drinks but the atmosphere is... More

The do cakes hot chocolate after a day in the sea. Then on a night they open for evening meals, booking advisable in the summer months as the... More
