Visited today with my wife and 2 children, and much to my surprise there was no queue. Not that it matters because you expect to queue when you go to Philps.... No matter how long the queue it's always worth it! Good variety and great taste!

Their steak pasties are well filled with steak, onions & potato.... the large size is massive! My only problem is that we had to heat ours up & there was not enough gravy & so they ended up dry.

As there is no page for philps in Camborne despite it being open for months I have had to post this here. Several times now I have visited over lunch time to find no pasties! I'm a vegetarian and several times now there have been no cheese ones and only occasionally a veg one. I have also heard several times... More

It's a real Cornish pasty, what more is there to say? It beats Hamptons, Rowes, Warrens, etc by a long mile. My only complaint is, the pastry should be shortcrust and occasionally the staff need to be a bit more diligent about the quality of the meat and veggies, but there isn't a pasty shop that delivers perfect pasties 100%... This is what pasties are all about. Full of flavour, full of meat, full of veg, this is why Cornwall make the best pasties. Try one of the hampers with fresh scones, rock buns, or mince pies, you can't go wrong. If you can't visit in person they also do home deliveries all across the U.K. You will not be... More
