We have eaten several times at this pub /restaurant and have found it excellent. New owners we think about 18 months ago. Not sure if it is a pub with excellent pub food or a good restaurant with a bar. On the food front it is excellent and if you have to wait it is worth it. I can recommend... More

First let me say I visited the Finneygook over 6 years ago and wrote a review then for the current owners which was good, but let me say its even better now hence my new review! My wife and I and our two huskies visited the Inn on our weeks stay at Whitsand bay...wait for it four times... We figured... More

We have just had a wonderful evening meal here with really friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. I cannot think when I had a better ribeye steak and wholeheartedly recommend the Inn to everyone.

Stayed at the whitesands hotel there was a long steap 15 min slow walk to the finnygook Inn but it is well worth the effort. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had lots of meals while away but this was far the best food of our weekend. The scolop starter was fantastic and the fish platter for main was to... More

The choice is amazing - the welcome and service outstanding - and all in all a very excellent experience. You should book for Sunday lunch - and book well ahead to be sure of a table when you want it. The seafood starter is incredible - The roasts are magnificent - and the desserts are calorifically wonderful!! Highly recommended

We called in to this pub with my parents a couple of weeks ago. We all love seafood and my mum chose the seafood pie but it came with cheesy mash topping, she cannot eat cheese and they kindly did her pie without cheese, proving it was freshly made and not frozen and reheated. My husband father and I all... More

My family and I visited here for the first time for a birthday and would 100% say it was one of the best meals out we have had in a long time! If I could I would have had every dish on the menu as the range of foods sounded delicious! We all had great starters and main courses but... More
