We came here mostly because of the images of the flood in which water could be seen rushing through the entrance. We were somewhat disappointed by the atmosphere, and also by the prices of the menu. Local ales on offer and served in decent condition.

Fell into the restaurant after a long day out looking for a quick and simple supper. My wife was pleased with the large pot of Earl Grey tea provided. I enjoyed the Cidre from the tap. We were found a table despite not booking and the restaurant being quite busy. It is split over two areas and on two levels... More

We had two meals at The Wellington pub and both were lovely pub meals and prices not bad. The fish pasta dishes I thought a little over priced and they ran out of mussels! Beer good too.

The deck looked appealing after a long walk, but it was another hike to the bar. They were between chef shifts, and an order for cream tea stumped them. Not sure if the scones were old, or uncooked.

When we visited the bar area was very quiet. Menu was very mundane and expensive. The real ales were not good.

On a beautiful sunny day in Boscastle we chose to eat on the Terrace of this restaurant. Very helpful with my meal as I have dietary issues.

Food, wine and service all good. Had wonderful and interesting salad and soups. Good wine! Loved that it came in different glass sizes if you wished. The wait staff at the bar was so accommodating and friendly.

Presented as one of Cornwall's best restaurants is a bit of a joke. It is simply a dedicated room. On our visit the wonderful receptionist doubled as the maître de, sommelier, senior and junior waiter, whilst still carrying out her receptionist duties; therefore, seen very little of. Food was fine but at £30 for two courses it has got it... More
