World famous Maru Bhajia and Chutney, foodies form around the world come for a taste. Wish they would do a range of spiciness of their chutney maybe copy Nando style bottles.... See you next year.. PS need to improve the milkshakes they should be dropped as is.

I visited this place just yesterday for lunch an essentially a quick bite to eat. My family and I chose this place because we have heard from family relations that their bhajia's are amazing. Upon entering the place it's quite small and it was a little confusing on whether you had to wait to be seated or sit down anywhere.... More

The cocky owner/manager and his arrogant sidekick have little or no respect for their customers. They have become a total parody of the wonderful eating place it use to be in the 80's. They are so successful that they think and firmly believe that the the customers will continue to come irrespective of how poorly they are treated. A risk?... More

I have been coming here for years (and I mean over a decade) since my mum used to bring me here when I was a kid. Don't expect too much from the décor or service (its almost like your in India so don't expect the etiquette standards of the UK!) - queuing system is a joke - you get a... More

Waiting in a queue we saw a man come into restaurant saying might as well sit down and wait, then saw him take a plastic container from his pocket and fill someone's left over food into it and leave. I was disgusted the waiting staff let that happen. Put me off, but I have been eating at Maru's for the... More

Amazing place to eat at. Great fresh pakoras that always hit the spot. This place does live up to the hype. Would highly recommend the crispy Bhajia which they are famous for and daal bhajia. The Mogo is awesome too.

This place has been going for years and in all this time the only thing to have changed is staff! The food is very good, hence why there is always a queue to get in the door. Food is made fresh and comes out piping hot. The only downside is the waiting staff, I dont know why you would employ... More

I go here infrequently in the hope that one day I will get decent Maru bhajyas as everyone raves about it. They are tasteless, expensive and you end up waiting for 20 minutes for your takeaway. No more, I have had better but cheaper and quicker bhajyas at Tulsi in Honeypot Lane.

After so many years of going here and Kenya, does not disappoint me at all. Not sure why people get hung up on the service- its not a Michelin ! The bhajya are far the best, noone can get anywhere near the quality. Prices also reasonable.
