Very busy location at edge of Village and service was good. We really enjoyed our meal and appreciated the good value. Try the sweet potato fries!

Really tasty food served simply and efficiently in a country kitchen style restaurant. Recommended. We had the quiche and soup and the grilled prawn platter. Both very good.

Let be begin by saying that the food was good. Not excellent but good. Now for the service. Probably the worst I've experienced . They have no "bus" service so the waitresses are responsible for clearing the tables and they do a horrible job at it. They leave the tables full of uneaten food until they are ready to clean... Had lunch with the ladies in my family and the food was delicious! I had a reuben, which was a little different than most reubens I've had, but different in a good way! Others had the chicken salad with cranberry sauce on top. The sandwich was HUGE and was able to be split by two people. Thank you Kling House... More

The woman greeting folks at the front door was extremely nice and made yiu feel welcome. However, our waitress was surly and for being 9:00 am in the morning, her apron was covered in food. And was dirty. The other waitress had a clean apron. Inasked for a well do e english muffin and it was served almost white. She... More

This was a charming and friendly restaurant. We went there for lunch, the menu was extensive and there were smaller portions that were more than sufficient for a good lunch! The service was friendly and the restaurant was so clean!

The driver at the Amish House and Farm (Don) recommended the Kling House as a good spot to see the Amish while having a great breakfast. We were not disappointed with the view or the food. Lots to see on a Saturday morning at about 9:30am when we visited. Very interesting. We were seated quickly and service was cheery and... More

We stayed at The Inn at Kitchen Kettle Village and breakfast at Kling House was included with our room. The main menu had a wide variety to choose from, whereas the guest of the Inn had a separate condensed version. We ate off the guest menu and were extremely please with our breakfast. Both food and service were excellent. Portions... More

My daughter and I stopped into Kling House for a late morning breakfast. We were very pleased with the friendly service and delicious food. She ordered the eggs with broccoli, cheese and bacon which was served in a cute cast iron frying pan. I went with the waitress' recommendation of the cinnamon raisin french toast. Totally worth blowing my diet... More

Description
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.
