Let me start off by commending how attentive they were about my son's food allergy. My 3 yr old has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy and they checked and double checked everything that was being served, including the sausage in his breakfast meall. I have never come across a restaurant that has shown this much care about a... More

Using prior reviews, we stopped here for a light lunch. The turkey bacon sandwich was on fresh bread and more than enough for two. I had the beef vegetable soup and it was chock full of both. Very tasty. Pricing was fair and location convenient to local shopping at Kettle Village. Would recommend.

Felt welcome when we opened the door, and the menu was delightful. Served is special crackers with pepper jam and cream cheese spread with our beverages. Menu was delectable and it was hard to select one entree.

My husband and I love the Kling House. We eat there every time we are in PA. This trip, however, we were very disappointed in one of the breakfast items. The Creamed Chipped Beef was not creamy, and the pieces of beef were so tiny, as to be almost non-existent. The sauce was thick, heavy and tasted very cheesy. I... More

We love eating at the Kling House in Kettle Kitchen! The food is always excellent with fresh ingredients and the service is the best too! We have eaten both inside on the enclosed porch and outside on the patio too! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We had the pleasure of having breakfast here as it is one of the perks for staying in the Kitchen Kettle Village. (We would eat here anyway!) The food is delicious and the service is terrific. Always a must when we visit.

The Kling House restaurant is one of the best places for breakfast or lunch when in the Pennsylvania Dutch area. We always make a point to eat there every trip. During our recent stay we had lunch there on Monday, Aug. 8th and breakfast on the following Tuesday and Wednesday. We were a party of 4 for lunch and everyone... More

It was a nice day out, so we decided to eat out on the patio. We had to move a few tables around to fit 5 of us, but it was cool and comfortable and only had to deal with one pesky fly towards the end of the meal. They offered a complimentary dip/relish with wafer crackers which was so... More

Description
The Kling House Restaurant is the home of Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse, PA. The house nurtured three generations of Klings and Burnleys before the Lancaster County farmhouse became a restaurant. The front porch, living room, dining room and office remain in tact but now we greet hungry guests for breakfast or lunch. Although coconut cream pie has become our signature dessert, the breakfast or lunch menus are full of Lancaster County recipes which feature Kitchen Kettle Village products. Cinnamon raisin French toast or baked oatmeal for breakfast. Cranberry chicken salad served open faced with Kitchen Kettle Cranberry Orange Marmalade for lunch. And the very best shoofly pie in all the land. We sometimes eat shoofly pie for breakfast! At Christmastime we offer special dinners with Mrs. Claus and Yummie the five Friday nights between Thanksgiving and December 19th. These magical nights fill up quickly, click here for all the details. When the weather cooperates, enjoy outdoor dining on the Terrace. You can watch the buggies go by and just relax in the sunshine.
