A Cena restaurant is located just over the Richmond Bridge in East Twickenham. A fantastic local italian restaurant set in a warm, friendly, elegant but relaxed atmosphere with a menu that constantly changes to suit the changing seasons and ensuring only the freshest and best ingredients go into our dishes. The wine list is superb ranging from small, modest Italian Vineyards to some of the great names and vintages. A Cena means "at dinner" and is pronounced "Ah Chenna"

On the Twickenham side of Richmond Bridge is this incredibly understated Italian restaurant. The menu is really interesting, it is so hard to decide what to order as the choice isn’t vast but interesting. Fantastic attentive service, great wine list and a brilliant little find...More

My most recent visit was for Sunday lunch. This is really good value for money, being a fixed price 2 or 3 course option. The menu changes daily so you get the best of the market and seasonality. I can’t say what my favourite dish...More

Appalling, Unprofessional and just average food. It is clear why they are struggling. (They are now offering value meals to get people in the door) My husband and I planned a nice evening out. We pre-booked. I arrived before my husband to be met with...More

Visited on Good Friday evening as a table of four. Service was very attentive and polite. Food was very good and tasty. I would recommend to any visitor as an alternative to the many restraunts across the river in Richmond

We had a fabulous lunch made perfect with fabulous staff. We had the Insalara to start...a simple dish and amazingly delicious. We then followed with Spaghetti Arabiatta. Best I have ever had with a taste of chilli. Followed by Tiramasu to die for! We drank...More

Passing A Cena the other day I saw that it was offering a £10 lunch - salad, a pasta dish and coffee - and decided to try it. This sort of deal is very frequently found abroad. In Portugal a hot, cheap midday meal is...More

We have eaten there before and had good quality food. It didn't disappoint again on that front however the service was some of the worst I've come across in a long time. The waiting staff were totally disinterested and as one other reviewer has said...More

Wasn't sure what to expect really. I felt with no Italians serving it missed that charm you get when you go to Italian restaurants. The food was OK, it really does depend on what's on the menu I felt that the food was a bit...More
