This is by far the worst beer I have tasted whilst staying in Twickenham for the rugby , and the most expensive. Taking advantage of rugby fans I will not be visiting again. Lots of other great pubs nearby try them instead

Very nice pub, with good food I accidentally left a present here and Emma was great helping me retrieve it - super nice team behind the bar!
Hired the upstairs room for a big-birthday disco. From the first enquiry to the day after the night before (!), staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. Alex and Jimmy were always available with assistance and advice beforehand and on the night. Amelia-On-The-Bar turned out...to be the world's best cake-cutter. Had a lovely, memorable evening in a relaxed setting with lots of seating, plenty of room to dance, everything was beautifully cleaned and layed out before our arrival and, I noted, the temperature seemed to be well controlled as it felt really comfortable in there, even after 7 hours' (yup) of dancing! Loved it. Thanks, guys - best birthday ever!More
Came in for a drink and a quick bite before listening to some music at their venue next door. This was the first time inside the pub rather staying outside with all the rugby supporters before a match. Just had the excellent nachos. Really friendly...staff. Nice atmosphere. Buzz of conversation. Music at the right volume. Spot on.More
Had a perfect pub lunch today. Great pork roast and nut roast with all the trimmings. Good value and great service . Happy to have discovered our local does a great Sunday roast
I haven't been up to the London area for a while so was a bit taken aback by £3.05 for half a coke. Sign of the times I guess. The meal was OK although the starters were pretty thin at the price. I had the...turkey pie but most had the Christmas dinner. All the food was on the plate rather than having separate vegetables which would have avoided waste. The service was a bit chaotic but we were a large group which must have been challenging for the kitchen.More
It claims to be the most famous rugby pub in the world (hard to prove), but it is well worth the visit. Large screens dotted around to easily watch the sport, a good menu that changes to handy bites during match days. Great choice of...beer and wine.More
I'd never visited this pub before. We attended a birthday party in the side venue room. It was a lovely space for the size of the party, clean and well decorated. What really made it 5 stars were the 2 ladies behind the bar who...were fantastic all evening. A huge thank you to them both.More
Myself and my family came here for lunch, this is our second visit and we are super impressed, the staff are very friendly and caring; my Nan is in a wheelchair and they are very accommodating! The food is delicious 🤤 would highly recommend.
Visited the Cabbage patch for leaving drinks. Booked prior to arrival with excellent communication from manager. On arrival bar staff assisting preparing our area with banners/balloons that we had bought with us. We felt that they could not do enough for us. Lovely team of...staff. Clean, well presented pub large selection of drinks, good location. Excellent service, would totally recommend.More
A good place to watch sport but very steep drinks. £16.95 for a double amaretto and splash of coke, and a Guinness is a joke!
We had been at Twickenham Stadium to see England play the Barbars (don’t ask). We were catching the train back to London and the queues were immense so we past the station on a slim chance of finding somewhere to eat. The Cabbage Patch pub...was rammed but we were very lucky to be able to get a large table (7 of us) in the restaurant part. The food was very good and the service was outstanding, very impressed indeed.More
Brilliant bar staff who were extremely personable and friendly making the overall experience very enjoyable. I also left my glasses at the pub which they kindly looked after and posted back to me. Would highly recommend a visit.
Don't get me wrong, we love the Cabbage Patch and drink there regularly but there are things that need thinking about, following our visit today. Firstly, we were greeted by the delightful Zoe, who served us for the whole afternoon, but she sadly failed at...the first hurdle when I ordered a bottle of Picpoul. It seems they only had two open bottles of cold Picpoul, and while there were more, they were warm. So Zoe offered me a compromise; two large glasses of Picpoul, and and a couple of bottles in rhe fridge just in case. (it beats me why the management can't refill their fridges first thing in the morning). We then ordered a Charcuterie Platter for two at £16.50. Keep in mind that this was for two of us when we tell you what it consisted of! 3 slices of coppa. 2 slices of Prosciutto crudo. 3 slices of salami milano 3 slices of chorizo. Black olives Cornichons Stale bread toasted Two tiny pieces of foccaccia. Try dividing that between two of us. Meanwhile we had just been shopping over the road in Waitrose and their Antipasto Platter at £6.00 contained more food than the Cabbage Patch's dismal offering. (My wife just interjected, but it's Fuller's isn't it) Ignoring that, let's come to the root of the problem. We lived for many years in Barnes, and watched the Boat Race live for over 20 years. Being a Sports Pub, with 6 huge screens we chose to go to the Cabbage Patch simply because of the screens and the chance to see the most important Boat Race of the year. But it wasn't on. When I questioned Zoe, I was told the Cabbage Patch was a Rugby Pub and they had to put the Rugby on. Meanwhile, two screens were showing West Ham vs Everton. We watched the rowing on our phones, interestingly along with at least three other locals siting nearby. So Cabbage Patch. A time for reflection. 1 . Keep you fridges stocked 2. When you serve a meal for two, produce the offerings in pairs. Be generous. 3. Be aware of Sporting Events and (especially) in the event of a one off, show it. I will be interested to see if The Cabbage Patch shows the Grand National next week. Meanwhile Zoe is a lovely girl and an asset to the pub. Thank you Zoe.More
This is not a review of the pub but of the jazz 'club' associated with it. The pizza (excellent) come from the pub and the bar is run by the pub and isnt busy at all, but the music is organised by the amazing Lesley...who gets fabulous musicians visiting for regular (Fortnightly?) Wednesday evening sessions. The room is intimate and cosy. The music is really excellent and due to the room size you get to see the musicians close up. These are top notch acts and highly recommend a visit if you like your jazz.More
