A classic and historic 15th Century British pub in the heart of Hounslow, we are conveniently located right next to Hounslow Central Tube Station, close to Heathrow Airport and the Hounslow High Street. We offer an array of drinks and cocktails at great value and a delectable Indian Menu that has made this Hounslow’s favourite socialising spot. We also have a function hall with catering upstairs, two car parks and a team that always welcomes you with smiling faces. This large characterful manor turned pub cannot be missed with its majestic antique archetypal British look. Our pièce de résistance is our ambient and colourful large outdoor garden seating at the back, that makes it Hounslow’s go-to location for drinks, food, parties and business meets! I have six hours to kill at Heathrow. Its the pandemic. Heathrow is dead and I hate place anyway. 2 tube stops to Hounslow. first pub out the tube station, a real pub garden, friendly staff doing the right thing: track and trace, temp check, hands cleaned, in you go. Food is simple but tasty Indian, the owner is about - I have no idea how he's managed to keep the place going.. The barmaid is achingly beautiful and funny / smart / sharp doesn't miss a thing. The loos are clean and well-organised. Everything works - the wifi is fast, and the place is sunny. I kill four hours working, drinking, nibbling and enjoying the gentle coming and going of a small number of people. I hope you guys are OK and come out of covid... Thank you.

I call in here whenever I am down in London staff are amazing and friendly, food exceptional Chef always willing to address personal tastes. Customer always put first. Highly recommend.

Food is excellent

I’m came here for lunch just to get out on my own for a bit and ordered fish and chips. The last time I had fish and chips here was roughly 1 year ago due to the pandemic. I thought they really worked on their menu and the food was tasting really good as well as the presentation. This time round I ordered the same but was flabbergasted this time round because they reached a peak in their food. But the food even tasted better and presentation was top notch. I would highly recommend others coming here to eat, if you are looking for a good English and Indian menu, and and great atmosphere. What a revamp in the menu!!! If you are local or not, traveling the Piccadilly from Heathrow, stop over for a good meal!!!

Lovely food, nice beer garden with TV, friendly staff.

Indian food is really good, and i wish they had more vegan options. Staff is always friendly and they have a few screens where they often show cricket and football. Very comfortable outdoor seating. Literally seconds away from Hounslow Central tube station and 5 min walk from high street. I’m told they’re refurbishing it and will re-open soon.

Is this really the best pub that Hounslow can find?

From the outside this is a big Victorian pub of obviously fading glory. On the inside someone has tried really hard to remove every single period feature that the pub may once have had and replaced it with cheap tables and seating. You do not go to this pub for its decor. The service was ok, the guy that service me was polite though i did have to request a glass for my bottle of coke. The coffee was very average and quite weak tasting. I asked for a latte but he was unable to steam the milk properly so as is often the case with poorly trained baristas in the UK, i got more of a lattecino than a latte. THe music in the pub was from a radio station and a little louder than it needed to be, the station dropped into adverts every few minutes which i would have rather not listened to. Surely playing constant music without adverts is not that difficult in this day and age? If this is the best pub in Hounslow, we are in serious trouble!

Warm welcome, great food

Stayed in the travel lodge over the road and came in for a bite to eat. The welcome from The ladies behind the bar was fantastic, made you feel so welcome. The Indian food was absolutely amazing, so much fresher and better than the standard curry houses, chicken biryiani was out of this world. Amazing value for money for great food and good drink prices as well. Will definitely visit again when flying from Heathrow

Hybrid fusion

A hybrid fusion of flavour and pub. A must stop location. We visited on Friday night and had the best experience. Beer was cold and the food was hot. A great example of service with a smile and friendly staff.

The food was amazing and very delicious , the staff are very friendly and many thanks to lakan for making us feel so welcome. We were there In Saturday night and they had a live band playing and the atmosphere was very fun and enjoyable. I strongly recommend this bar for families and we can’t wait to enjoy our weekend there again

Great food!

Great Indian food in a pub-like atmosphere. Easy access from the subway and Ramada Inn. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the TV in the dining area. Eating with music videos flashing on a screen doesn't suit me. Everything else was excellent.

Handy for a early flight tomorrow

A superb curry and a couple of beers is perfect before an early night and jumping on the Piccadilly line first thing tomorrow for an early flight. Attentive service, polite and top quality food. Thumbs up all round.

Hidden Gem

Stopped here randomly whilst looking for a drink and some food on a golfing trip. Running out of time we ordered curry and sat down. I’m struggling to think of a better tasting curry in my memory. Very polite staff, but honestly the curry was worth the stop! Highly recommend giving the food a go.

Friendly Local Establishment

Very hospitable establishment with very friendly owners and staff that are pleasant and very efficient. The food is very good with the Indian menu the best in the area. Nice atmosphere and lots of themed nights currently being promoted. Also for those sick of working home, this public house offers a nice sanctuary to crack on with your work! Keep up the good work guys!

Fab curry to kick start our holiday.

Like to have a drink here as part of staying at the Travelodge for an overnight stay before our flight. Good prices, but this time we decided to eat as the menu looked pretty tasty. What a great decision the curry was fantastic, tasty starters and side, nice treat to start our holiday. Not forgetting the polite and friendly service from all the staff.

The food is insane.

As far as venues go, the pub is quite a typical pub, but don't let that fool you. Great choice of beer and good atmosphere, the staff are lovely. Now onto the good stuff... The food is impeccable. Great price, great flavour and good portions. Curry, Naan and Rice is all you need.

What a gem of a find

Stumbled across this eatery while visiting with friends. Looks like a standard British pub but don't let that fool you, the Indian food is delicious! We were a large group on a Saturday night so did book ahead. My friends loved the naans! All the meals were very tasty! Service was amazing, and we'd like to say how attentive and friendly Reni was. Brilliant service. The on tap cocktails were great too!
