This was the first time we have eaten here. The decor and plastic table cloths give the feel of a fish and chip cafe. The menu includes lobster, halibut and monkfish so you think perhaps this is a good seafood restaurant, but then most fish is offered deep fried with mushy peas and chips. The place needs to decide what... More

I just needed to give another review to this great restaurant as I went again this time for lunch and in season for lobsters! Half a lobster was part of the seafood platter selection this time and was a great complement to the already delicious selection of prawns, crab, pickled herring, white anchovies, smoke salmon... My friend also ordered a... More

If you want fish and chips at there best or would like lobster or sole. This is the place for you. I would advise you to book as it does get busy during the summer and weekends.

Didn't want to bring the average score down (so gave it a 3) because we didn't end up ordering, but there wasn't a single thing on the menu we could eat as vegetarians. Even the chips are cooked in beef dripping. Might appear to be a stupid thing to say about a fish and chip restaurant but we're used being... More

Wow what a great menu choice we weren't disappointed with our meal. We arrived early for lunch and sat straight down. Service was great we sat upstairs with a view of the sea. The portion sizes are really large and the food cooked to perfection. We would definitely recommend this place and will be going back.

My wife and I had the pensioners special of haddock, chips, peas, tea, bread and butter for £8.95. We can certainly recommend this meal, the fish was enormous and delicious. The waitress was very polite and helpful. We have been to The Naked Fish on many occasions and have never had a poor meal.

We ate here early last night, with a nearly 3 year old and a baby in a pram. Restaurant was quiet and we got a table downstairs (there's about 6 tables downstairs) which is partitioned off from the takeaway chippy. The menu is extensive and great different options. I went for the monkfish and chorizo and my husband had the... More

All I can say is don't go here unless you are hungry...the portions of fish are enormous. Quality food too ! They also allow small well behaved dogs downstairs which was a bonus for us.
