Went to the garsdale again today, with friends to watch the England vs Poland game and what an atmosphere it was brilliant staff and they couldn’t do enough for you!! Even the dog got extra attention with dog water bowl and treats! Which of course...made him extra happy!! The beer was amazing fresh and even the glasses frozen which is perfect on a extra warm day l! Will deffo go back in the futureMore

Went for a Sunday Roast and waited 45 minutes for our meals - when it came we had two roast potatoes on each plate (very small ) broccoli was almost raw and the four lunches we had were served tepid - terrible experience they need...to up their game if they want repeat customers Will not want to go back there as the atmosphere was very poor and just a pub for boozing and definitely not for decent food and service. Great for families with youngsters but definitely no quality - never felt so disappointed with a simple roast dinner costing £60.00More

Went for a Sunday Roast and safe to say I’ll never go back. Service was awful, rude staff walking around swearing and moaning. One lady even said she can’t wait to finish her shift in 5 minutes. No covid rules in place at all, children...running around inside the restaurant area with dirty muddy bare feet. Inappropriate music playing considering it’s a ‘family pub’, extreme bad language and racist remarks. Waited over an hour for a cold roast dinner that tasted like it had just come out of the microwave. Overall an extremely disappointing experience and will definitely not be returning.More

Both had cheese n onion pie. If we’d been at home we’d have licked the plates clean! Soooo tasty! The jug of cheese sauce took it up a notch! Asked chef for a jug to take away…. Done the place up since our last visit...and it looks bigger, fresh and modern. Well done to all and see you soon!More

Went here with my daughter and granddaughter and her friend on Monday what absolutely dreadful service I had to ask a little girl to go and ask the staff TWICE to serve us when we entered they never greeted us or helped in any way...to get our order they were talking in the bar area absolutely stood doing nothing when we eventually ordered the food it came totally wrong with the chef not receiving the complete order leaving the friend and her children crying without any food I went here on great reviews from family and friends don't know what has happened but don't bother going the food isn't all that great eitherMore

Just visited the Garsdale after a walk around Burr’s country park. Lovely pub with lovely staff. Sat outside in the beer garden which overlooks the meadows with cows and horses. Beautiful view and ideal for couples and families with children. There is a small play...area at the side. We both ordered the all day breakfast which I must say was amazing and lots of it. Very tasty and no grease in sight. Would highly recommend. The staff, though busy, couldn’t do enough to help. Will definitely be back.More
