Great lunch and great service. Was quiet for a Saturday. Had the mulled wine which had thyme in, gave it some extra, really lovely. The starters were delicious and not too filling. Main course equally good. I'd go back any day. It's on my small list of pub restaurants I'd return to.

We popped in for a drink at Christmas time, while passing. We didn't stay for food as there wasn't much for vegetarians & nothing for vegans (we have both in our party, plus a fish allergy sufferer) so I can't comment on that, but the pub was really pretty & was a nice setting to have a glass of wine... Sunday lunch at The Brook is always excellent: we both had starters that came out quickly and were very enjoyable and the beef roast was just divine: perfectly cooked, tender meat with all the usual trimmings, just done far better than can be achieved at home. Flawless food! The service was great: fast, pleasant, but unobtrusive to our meal and... More

Have eaten at the Brook Inn three times recently and each time the food has been superb. So different to any other in the area I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. The young chef presents Michelin star worthy meals at a reasonable price. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the service excellent and the pub itself... More

We had a fantastic meal all staff were lovely until the ignorance of the Welsh lady that served our drinks, spoilt our day what a shame.

We heard that The Brook had changed hands, so decided to give it a try. Pubs do change hands and for the customer not always to the good, so we set off wondering what sort of lunch we were going to have. As soon as we walked in we could see what a lovely lot of changes had been made,... More

On a grim January day we found a log fire and a smiling welcome. The menu was very interesting for Sunday lunch with many alternatives to the traditional roast. I chose the roast Monkfish tail which was absolutely delicious and my husband found the roast beef tender and full of flavour. The vegetables were well cooked and the service was... More

Called in without booking on a Sunday afternoon. Made very welcome and shown to a table straight away. The chicken meal was "Outstanding" - delicious. The service was also excellent. Hope to visit again soon. Thank You. H & K
