This pub was taken over by new owners just over 12 months ago. They started with a full refurb which is very tasteful and comfortable. The variety of drinks is great and reasonably priced. The food is absolutely gorgeous, we've been eating there on a regular basis since it opened and have never had a bad meal. They purposely keep... More

Having reserved a table for four, we were all looking forward to a fine dining experience, having read an article in our local newspaper. I had previously read the mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but went with an open mind. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and efficient, taking our orders with no fuss, good start. Our starters arrived, with mixed opinions.... More

Despite prior reservation on arrival allocated disappointingly located small table. Restricted albeit interesting menu and adequate wine list. £8 starter comprising 2 small scallops, grilled prosciutto slice and peas very poor value however the main courses, particularly the duckling, provided much more appealing fare. While this country pub is patently popular there are much better dining options in the Redditch... More

The food here is of the type that looks pretty but really has little of merit in regard to flavour or content, a pub that is trying to be a 5 star hotel and fails miserably. My starter was served in such a way it was difficult to eat but my main really was a bit of a joke. My... More

The steak here is the best I've ever eaten and I'm not exaggerating. The blue cheese sauce was lovely too. Our small family have dined here a couple of times recently, and will be coming back. The staff were all friendly and the food was served quickly and was very well presented. The price was reasonable. The kids menu was... More

Sorry for the late review. Visited just over a week ago on a Friday evening. Hadn't been for a couple of years and were overly impressed with the changes. Excellent menu all food cooked beautifully, well presented and we thought fairly priced for the quality. Staff very attentive, but not over powering. Lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be returning. Only... More

Don'tknow was happening on Sunday at the Brook. Service was very slow, could not get the orders right. The Roast Beef was superb, but served on a tepid plate with cold Yorkshire Pudding. Certainly not up to the usual Brook standard
