We have been using Washford Mill for years, but this was our first visit for a while. It is a an lovely setting, and the outdoor eating area is very pleasant. The vegetables on the carvery were fresh and varied, but the quantity of meat was stingy to say the least, and the request for a vegetarian carvery was not... More

A nostalgic trip to a haunt that was once a very special place. Now sadly looking like it needed a major injection of cash and a good manager. The service was poor, food after waiting for the chef,we were treated to the culinary delight of thinly sliced meat, dry undercooked veg and a sausage that had been on a strict diet. Interestingly the... More

Don't be fooled by the huge 'Carvery £5.95' signs outside, small print underneath states Monday to Saturday, its £8.95 on Sundays. I have not eaten there for a long while but its not going to be high on my list. Meats were fine, All veg looked like it had been cooking since breakfast time and was colourless and mushy. Gravy... We used to come here in the 70s and 80s when it was THE place to come. Always packed/ Good food and good beer. Quirky water mill in the centre of the pub (working). Went back for a family get together and to celebrate my wife's birthday. What a disappointment! Food was mediocre, staff couldn't give a toss for service... More

This was our second visit in a couple of years. We were starving, so headed straight for here as we remembered it from a couple of years ago. We were greeted by a lovely lady who seated us and took our drinks order. We decided on the carvery straight away and off we went to get the food. The turkey... More

Foods very poor but the building and pub section are a treat. If they where to chance the restaurant then it could be a real winner.

My husband and I stopped off for Sunday Carvery, we had all meats on offer turkey, beef and gammon, they were cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth with a variety of veg and condiments. For me, the best mash i"ve ever tasted. Very tasty at a reasonable price. Nice popular pub, the staff are pleasant, polite and helpful. The... More

I often go to the washford for its great service and lovely food. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it's ideal for family outings or a romantic evening, however you may be more strucken with some of the very attractive bar/waiting staff as i was ;) all in all a great place to eat and drink!

The old water mill on the river Arrow has been converted into a modern pub and restaurant serving quality food in a relaxed and friendly environment. We are proud to serve a Great British Carvery with a daily selection of Red Tractor assured meats and fresh, seasonal vegetables.

Join us in our delightful informal restaurant for a delicious daily carvery or choose from our superb menu. Alternatively just pop into our riverside bar and terrace to enjoy a local ale with friend
