Good friendly service with an excellent choice of fare. Food came promptly, delicious and plenty of it. Lovely and friendly pair of 'bar dogs' too. This pub has a good mix of regular locals and visiting diners. I would also say that the hanging baskets...More
Myself and the family recently visited this welcoming blossoming Inn after our little tour around Marlborough on a Sunday afternoon. It was such a pleasure and really made the day for us relaxing hear at the end of a sunny afternoon. We ordered and received...More
It appears in this pub the landlord and his staff have no manners. Doesn't matter that u spend in excess of 400 quid, sweep up a glass that u didn't break and help them out when their security is breached if u accidentally knock something...More
The Lamb is a traditional English pub serving a pretty typical English pub menu. We visited on a Sunday lunchtime and ate in the small courtyard in the April sunshine. Our party of 4 adults and 3 children were made most welcome. The pub was...More

We were very hungry afer a 9 mile walk and were delighted to find that food was still being served until 2 30 - it was a Saturday. There's a reasonable choice for vegetarians, good-sized portions and the newly refurbished front bar is comfortable.
Thank you for your review. We're glad that you enjoyed your visit to The Lamb Inn. We do always try to accommodate hungry guests. Please come back and visit us soon. Kind regards Jackie
A 'good pub' guide suggested this be a worthwhile stop in an unfamiliar town. Started the visit by requesting the dog dirt outside the outdoor entrance to the loos be removed. Decent pint of IPA straight from the barrel. An average lunch. Prawn cocktails were...More
Although a little late, we would like to offer our apologies for your less than satisfactory visit. We are a dog friendly pub and although we check often for deposits made by dogs, sometimes they do enjoy being a little sneaky. Once brought to our...More
A few of us ate here recently. Some of the favourites were the black pudding and potato cake, squid starter, venison casserole and gammon, egg and chips. The service was good and it is a proper pub with a good atmosphere. Sadly the cutlery on...More
I called The Lamb to book our work Christmas meal. Food is not normally available on a Friday evening, but the landlord offered to open the kitchen as we were a party of 8. We had the small stable room off the rear courtyard, it...More
